Elixir is a bit of a trek for me but I was meeting some friends for breakfast so why not? This place is known for their pancakes, and when I say pancakes I don’t mean a cute little stack, I mean two giant sized thick and fluffy pancakes! There are a range of toppings and judging by how many people were ordering them, I would say they are their most popular dish. On this occasion though, I had eggs on toast and they were great. My friend had the pancakes and couldn’t finish them. Elixir offer you the option of taking your leftovers away, which is great. The coffee was good and it is a busy spot so it pays to get there early if you can!

Great place for breakfast! A group of us visited over the weekend, I knew from a previous visit it was a busy place so I booked a table. The service was amazing, two of us were sharing so they bought out both dishes halved and perfectly plated. The cinnamon scroll pancakes and the bacon benedict were friggin delicious and huuuuge portion sizes! Loved this place so much that I’m bringing hubby along this weekend :)

We’ve been to Elixir three times to know that the this place has a good service and good food. It was quite a long drive from home, but we found a discount voucher in the Entertainment Book. The café is quite spacious, which makes it easy to bring in prams and I always feel happy to see big table. Last time I went there with two friends. We ordered the usual OJ and flat white. Then we went on ordering our usual Elixir breakfast. This time, we added pancake to the mix. Pancake was really good in portion(crispy and fluffy on the inside). Will definitely find time to go back to the city of Wanneroo and visit Elixir.

Always a good sign when the place is packed and it’s hard to get a seat, and I can see why! On my first visit I eventually decided on the Eggs Benedict. The meal came out quite promptly despite every table in the house being taken, was a good size and delicious. No complaints at all — I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Classic breakfast options done well. Decided to try since we were in the area. It’s busy on weekends so we booked ahead. For breakfast we had — Canadian breakfast — Eggs Benedict with a hashbrown — kids pancakes — latte — double espresso — orange juice The staff were helpful and provided our son with a colouring book and crayons. Coffees arrived first and the presentation of the latte was great although tasted too milky. My espresso was spot on. They use a Dark Horse roast from 5 Senses and know how to handle it. Breakfasts were all well presented and tasty. But there was nothing unique to distinguish them. The venue is nice and modern forming part of the Wanneroo library complex. However the tables were a little wobbly on the polished grano floor. This combined with tough bacon makes for a challenging cutting and eating experience. All up a nice breakfast but not a destination I must return to.

Really enjoyed the lunch at this café! Prices are reasonable and the food is fantastic. I have tried the slides(both JFC and Pork) n and they are great. The milkshakes are larger than the average and the parmigiana specials look great too. I hear this place is great for breakfast so looking forward to trying that soon!

Well priced restaurant/café in Wanneroo. Friendly staff. Well worth the drive from south of the river. Other good reviews were correct. Recommend you try it out.

This is a surprising little spot in the center of Wanneroo. Surrounded by a shopping centre, library and an abundance of fast food places this café is great for a catch up with friends any time of the day. We chose a Thursday night for a meal, pre-bookings can be made too for those that like to be prepared. I had the Moroccon lamb salad and my friends had the house burger which apparently is a venue original. Serving sizes were above average and the dishes flavorsome. We also tried their crispy onion rings, big, thick and crunchy, can’t beat it! Because I was trying to be good, I didn’t sample dessert but my friends did, they devoured a slice of the limited edition of the tim tam brownie. Served with ice cream, they were not disapppointed, writing this now, it’s all I can think about. I just should’ve gone for it!

Café elixir is a fantastic place to go for coffee, cake, breakfast, lunch or dinner. They cater extremely well for gluten free and other allergies and are very happy to help cater the food specifically for personal needs. Food is fresh, tasty and delivered with great service. Top tip would be to book and make a reservation as it greats very busy!

I’ve been here many times for breaky but was originally meeting for one of their lovely coffees and that turned into dinner. Elixir have a great dinner menu full of options. I had the stuffed chicken. It was delicious, a great sized portion and super affordable. It’s always a great atmosphere in their. Clean and the staff are so lovely. Elixir is definitely one of my fave breaky points but looking forward to trying more of their dinner menu. If you live on the wanneroo area, this should be your local!

So I have seen and heard about this café. My curiosity got to me and I went in for breakfast with a friend. And let me say… I was not disappointed. Such a great variety! From your standards(eggs Benny, vego breakfast) to awesome sounding things like Canadian breakfast. Coffee was great. Prices are great for meal size and food is wonderful. Will come back for sure. I recommend booking in advance, we didn’t and were lucky that there was one table left!

I am in love with this restaurant. Tucked behind Wanneroo Central Shopping Centre, you know it is a great café when no matter what day is it, it is full of people. I have come here four times for breakfast now, so I cannot comment on the lunch or dinner menus. As a vegetarian, I have so many options! My favourite dish is the Breakfast Bruchetta which is beautifully moreish. I have also tried the Vegetarian Big Breakfast and the Berry Pancakes. Everything comes out with very generous servings! If you order a large coffee, it comes out in what can be described as a soup bowl, which you need to pick up with two hands. Very quirky! Yesterday I had my first get together with a larger group of people at the restaurant. I had a group of 6 but they were accommodating groups of 10 or more people easily. We weren’t cramped in and it was very comfortable. We arrived at 11am but one friend was running late and we were worried we could miss the breakfast cut off, only to be told by the friendly staff that the breakfast ran all day! After an amazing meal and coffee, one thing that I really appreciated was they allow separate billing, which a lot of places don’t do any more. This is one place you need to try for breakfast. It is very affordable and welcoming.

I had heard nothing but pleasant words about this café from friends and so I decided it was about time I indulged in what many describe as a little local gem. The layout of the café leaves a bit to be desired, I could only imagine how awkward it would be at peak hour, luckily we had an early reservation which meant bumping into nearby tables was avoided. The service was great, attentive but not needy which gave us ample time to focus on eating the mountains of food that stood before us. We ordered the aptly named big sharing plate(which is the normal size) and dug into copious amounts of dips(avocado, beet root and hummus), Turkish bread, cheeses, olives and fried fish. A smattering of prawns, bruschetta mix and chorizo to top it all off went down a treat. I must confess, I live for tasting plates and this simple mix of ingredients used quality produce and even when shared between three hit the spot for an entrée. My main meal was the Taylor burger, which was once again oversized and delightful to look at. The meat was tender and juicy, accompanied by normal trimmings and a sweet and tangy relish which left a crime scene on my face and plate. A large side of standard beer battered chips was barely touched and I went home kilos heavier and content. Sure the place seemed to focus on quantity over quality, but I had no complaints at all. Let’s not forget it is a café, it’s not trying to be fine dining. I will definitely going back to hit that tapas menu!

This extremely popular café located in the Wanneroo town center. I used to work next door and have watched this small family café transform into a powerhouse and well known name in the northern suburbs! Staff are great and always a friendly vibe going on inside the café. I love there breakfast wrap. It has me drooling everytime. During the busy hours it does take a little while for food and coffee to come out, however expected!

This place is great new to working in the northern suburbs couldn’t find good coffee or food to save my life until someone told me about elixir . Very friendly service and the best coffee for at least 25 minute drive. The place is always packed so it must be good and I am looking forward to trying all the great food I have seen coming out of the kitchen

This little gem is one of my top 5 shortlist of best places to eat in Perth! I have been there several times and each time I have been impressed, the pancakes are amazing. The big breakfasts are tasty and worthy of the name ‘big’. My most recent endeavour to try the Texan style parmy left me shocked and amazed, while I wasn’t a fan of the barbecue sauce(I just don’t like barbecue sauce) I ordered it as is, just cos that’s how I roll(you have to try the standard before ya change stuff). It was awesome! The chicken whist thick was superbly cooked, soft and so tender it could have been shredded with a fork. The chips were super crunchy and everything came out perfect(not cold and gross), mine and my partners food came out together, the same as all the other tables around us. The only other thing I can add is the first time I was here the bar was set high, but every time I go here it’s on par or better! BRAVO! Beautifully consistent quality! A refreshing change from the hit and miss of some places. As always, hope you Unilocalers find my review useful. DMO

Ugh it is such a treat to have one of my friends invite me out for a coffee at elixir. Such good vibes, great alert staff and delicious food — not to mention the sweet playlist they play(the xx, flume, flight facilities). Is definitely Wanneroo’s best café! Their food is delish and their coffee is even better. I love both breakfast and anytime menu — personal favourite dishes are: the blt, Taylor’s burger and their parmigiana! If i had to absolutely pick on one thing at elixir it would be their very strong love for sprinkling parsley on every meal they serve… That’s as bad as it gets here :)

Probably one of the best cafés in Wanneroo. Modern cuisine for a reasonable price(for Perth). I’ve tried the full breakfast and the quinoa pumpkin salad, both were substantial and tasted pretty good. Staff are friendly enough, taking into account how frantically they’re running around the place. The downsides are that if you order a large coffee while you’re dining in, they serve it in a funnel-looking cup(or one of those bowls that reception desks serve complimentary mints in? I’m not sure what it is) with no handle. It’s a bit of a mission to drink from. Also, if you’re going in to pick up a quick takeaway coffee(5 – 10 minutes) you should probably wait outside because there is very little space between the counter and tables, staff have to constantly squeeze past you. All in all, it’s definitely worth visiting if your in the area.

You thought you could hide from me in the northern suburbs, Elixir? It was only a matter of time, you elusive tasty minx. I’m not sure where to begin because I’m in a food coma and I can’t successfully button my pants so that’s proof enough that Elixir is freaking outstanding. 4.5 stars outstanding. The Eggs Benedict? Sweet Jesus. It’s a religious experience. It’s the perfect plate of perfectly poached eggs, succulent ham, fresh spinach, crispy hash browns and the best hollandaise sauce this side of the equator. You’ll lick your plate twice, guaranteed. Everything that came out of this kitchen brings people to the point of spear tackling the waiter, grabbing the food and running for the hills. I don’t know what they are up to back in that kitchen, but it’s some kind of sorcery. The plates are big enough to share but I’d bite your hand off if you tried. You’ll finish your plate if your stomach bursts because leaving these kind of meals behind is a slight against the food Gods. Standing applause for you, Elixir. Your breakfast menu goes all day and you do split billing. I could squeeze you until you turn blue. Best brunch I’ve had in a VERY long time.
