The Naked Duck

Been here a few times for a quick work lunch. I’m usually too cheap to buy lunch so I bring it from home so this doesn’t happen very often. There are a bunch of lunch places round here but on the rare occasions where I’m buying lunch, I end up here. The prices are pretty good and the servings are massive. Its also delicious which helps.
Their main thing is the roll. Filled with meaty goodness and served with rosemary fries. The meaty goodness is a selection of slow cooked amazingness ranging from chicken to 12 hour braised lamb to pulled pork. A roll stuffed with meat and with a pile of fries on the side will set you back $ 10. Which is pretty good for that part of town and I defy you to be hungry afterwards.

I love the Naked Duck. It’s is my morning coffee place and the «single origin» coffees are great. They also have a great range of hot and cold foils for lunch. The pulled pork is a must .
They do everything right at this café. So I keep coming back

So I generally review places for coffee. But this is not one of those places just about coffee. Saying that I think this is the better coffee at Darling Harbour. It is smooth coffee — I prefer a darker bean, but still it is a great cup of coffee.
But the main reason you come here is the food. There is so many options that it would suit anyone’s taste. There is salads, burgers, pulled pork sandwiches, you name it. Everything is fresh and delicious.
Great place for a bite, some good coffee and a nice place to sit and enjoy the day.

This is a very convenient café/​restaurant to grab a quick bite or to lounge over a cup of coffee and catch up with colleagues.
I’ve had lunch here many times and they’ve never disappointed. Highlights include the beetroot salad, burger, coffees.

The Naked Duck has become a regular place for lunch. At first we avoided this place because the ordering process was confusing. Without a clear view of the food in the cabinets, no clear ordering line and hand written menu boards it is a little daunting when you want to grab lunch quickly.
However I am very pleased we persisted. I regularly order the combo pack for $ 12.90 with choice of salads and meat. I have tried the Chicken Schnitzel (voted best in Darling Park by our group), Pulled Pork and Grilled Fish all with a delicious selection of salads including Broccoli Beans, Greek Salad, Mexican Corn Salad and Asian Dry Coleslaw.
Love this place even though one of the staff are a little over zealous in getting you out the door as FAST as she can ;) Reccomend this place for your fill of great meat and salads.
