Our menu features a contemporary take on classic Australian cooking featuring 25 dishes daily. The menu can be enjoyed in our vibrant cocktail bar or in our courtyard garden. History
Established in 2015.
Launched on April 20th 2015, Barrel Bar & Dining is the collaboration of sommeliers Stephen Thompson and Tony Binning.
Having worked together in Europe and Sydney, they are confident that they have a strong team at Barrel and we are excited to open a venue of their own. As locals, they feel that they know the area well and hope that Barrel will bring a new vitality to the neighbourhood as a place for people to come and enjoy quality food and try some interesting wines.”

Tony Binning has worked as a sommelier at Gordon Ramsey’s The Savoy Grill in London and Aqua Dining in Sydney. He successfully set up the Fix café chain in Sydney.
Stephen
Stephen Thompson honed his skills at the La Mola Club in Spain, the Individual Restaurant group in the UK and was manager/sommelier at Public Dining room in Balmoral for 5 years.
