Stopped by this delightful little café as it was just around the corner from my hotel. I’m not sorry I did, as they have a very extensive breakfast menu. And if all that’s not enough and you want something else they seem happy enough to cook it for you(and why not). I had the 2 good eggs breakfast which came with 2 perfectly poached eggs, a good helping of bacon, mushrooms and hash browns. Also includes 2 slices of toast with butter and what appeared to be home made tomato ketchup. English breakfast tea was the loose leaf variety and tasted amazing. I’d happily return and would recommend this place to friends when visiting Sydney.

Great café!! Been here the last 2 mornings for breakfast. Relaxed atmosphere, reasonable prices and great food. You have to try ‘Goats on Toast’, it is awesome!

First time I visited Two Good Eggs Café today — definitely not the last time! Several delicious options on the(all-day) breakfast and lunch menu. Fast and very friendly table service — and the Eggs Benedict with salmon is awesome. Love the little chocolate with the coffee.

W kept coming back to this place during our stay in Sydney. Everything we had here was very fresh and delicious from the muesli with fresh fruit, yogurt, and honey, the muffins, bruschetta, and egg dishes. We wish we had a place like this at home!

Fantastic option for breakfast in this part of town. This little spot had everything I wanted out of a breakfast place near my hotel: Good coffee, big delicious breakfasts, friendly and attentive service, and a cozy space and atmosphere. My only regret is not coming here sooner so I could have had more meals here! I ordered the Two Good Eggs café – eggs, toast, bacon, mushrooms, and potatoes to fuel up for a day of activities! My only complaint on the food is that the potatoes were the little formed hash brown patties, similar to what you’d get in a fast food joint. I can overlook this flaw while sipping a hot long black and chowing down on two perfectly poached eggs over toast. Bacon and mushrooms made a nice complement, even if you opt to skip the potatoes altogether. I would highly recommend giving this place a try to anyone who is staying or living in the area!

Interesting little café. Friendly staff, pretty good food and coffee. They had a special on called the Halloumi and Roast Tomato stack. Basically bruschetta with Halloumi and poached eggs. The eggs were cooked well and the Halloumi was tasty. The tomatoes were fresh and the sauce was nice. Check it out if you’re in the area.

This place is friendly(ish, good(ish) service, and well(ish) priced. Nothing stands out, but nothing seems amiss. Been here twice, mostly to confirm. Menu items are good, if a bit on the heavy and bland side of things. Coffee is decent. It is small and cozy, but so are most cafes in this area. It is certainly an A-OK place!

Was craving eggs Benedict so found this place on the net. The eggs Benny is on top of a sour dough bread not a English muffin! Not bad, but not amazing. Place is a bit small and gets quite busy on the weekend!

Love this place! Excellent coffee and a huge selection on the menu for breakfast and lunch. They also have specials. The bacon breakfast burger is yummy and for lunch my go to dish is the chicken schnitzel with potato salad!

Breakfasts in Sydney have typically become homogenous when it comes to their menus and efforts to keep up with typical trends in morning dining, with all the hallmarks of soy, linseed, quinoa, smashed avocado and blah blah blah. The basics seem to get left behind. These guys however manage to cover the current trends and also get the basics superbly right. We had their take on eggs benedict, which at $ 18.90 wasn’t cheap, but the avocado spread on the crispy sourdough bread literally made every yolky-hollandaisey bite heaven. We found the café thanks to a simple search of ‘best eggs benedict in Sydney’ and sure enough, we were highly impressed. We also had a prosciutto breakfast burger which was excellent. Coffee was great, hot chocolate not so great, setting was nice and service did the job. We’ll definitely be back for the food, and would highly recommend it. The food that is. Delicious. Getting hungry thinking about it.

Really nice place with good coffee. Had the prosciutto breakfast roll which was nicely done and something different to just bacon and eggs. Opens at 7am so good to get in and out quick

So, what is worse than having a hair in your food? Finding it halfway through your breakfast! Unfortunately I can’t go past this fact, even though the staff member offered her apology and the meal free of charge. Sorry but I won’t be back!

First time that I am going to review a café and not focus on the coffee but the food. As the coffee here was average, when I got my cup I was prepared to say that this place is not that special. There is better coffee a stone throw away for this place. So with my cup of coffee, I was not very excited about the food — specifically as it was relatively cheap, in comparison to all the other cafes in the area. But as you can see I have given this place 4 stars, which means that the food is good! And I mean good! You get good size portions and the delicious combination of flavours. I honestly can’t wait to come back to this place to try the breakfast — because I am certain it is going to be fantastic. And I have to make a note of the staff here. They are extremely friendly and helpful. The only downside is the coffee. If the coffee was better I would have given this place 5 stars easily. So if you want a great cup, this is not the place for you. However, if you are looking for good food and a cool atmosphere then stop by here.

The food and the setting are really pleasant. The coffee is inconsistent but can be very good if you’re lucky. It’s a cozy little brunch place. What I don’t understand, however, is why the guy who runs this place has such an unfriendly attitude. It’s as if he just wants you to go away the moment you arrive. His facial expression really says it all the moment you try to interact with him. Why — does he hate his customers?

This place is a hidden gem, cliché as it sounds. I was on my way towards one of the many brunch places in Surry Hills, when I saw this and made a mental note to come back. The nice thing is that they’re open during public holidays. The place isn’t too big, but we were lucky enough to get a place for our group of 5 people inside. Service was good, food was great. I ordered the buttermillk pancakes with blueberry and rhubarb compote and vanilla mascarpone. Now, I’m a HUGE pancakes fan and I think these are the best pancakes I’ve ever had in Sydney. They had a really good flavor without being too empowering, and the different ingredients went well together. Serving was generous. Another runaway winner was a dish with chorizo — chorizo was super tasty. All in all everyone in the table enjoyed their meals, with one person commenting he enjoyed it more than breakfast at the Grounds of Alexandria. I’d love to order something different next time, but now that I’ve tried the pancakes I don’t know how I can order anything else!

Food– delicious! Service– poor Ambience– cute and casual Aside from the fact that the waitress and server never responds to our«thank you“and forgetting our coffee. the breakfast is pretty good. The portions are generous. Prosciutto breakfast burger– the mini jar or marinara sauce is a nice add. The poached egg perfectly exploded with egg yolk and the bun is soft and chewy. Yum. Bacon breakfast burger– good but a bit too much mayo Toasted banana bread– Warm and flavorful – perfect! Blueberry and rhubarb pancakes– huge and tart. After many thank you attempts, she finally says you’re welcome at the end of the meal.
