Fiddlers Green Irish Bar & Resturant

I came in on a Wednesday for lunch. Ordered the fish and chips lunch special. The meal also came with a side salad. It was a good portion of food for $ 10.
Drink selections were standard. Drink prices are higher than your average Irish bar, but are pretty standard for the area.
The waitress was very friendly and attentive. I would come back again, especially to check out the night scene.

Fiddlers and Waxys are the only bars I go to when heading out for a drink in Surfers. Great place. Usually has the best live music as well.

One of the biggest and tastiest 10 buk lunch meals I’ve had. Definitely be back again

We weren’t expecting good food here but we were pleasantly surprised. Excellent service. Great selection of drinks at the bar. The fish and chips were great. Nachos were delicious and the kids cheese burger was appreciated by my youngster. The steak which was on special was the low point. A bit gristly. Portion size big. Atmosphere good. Would definitely eat here again

Nice pub but if you are planning on going here for dinner DONT! Went in the last week and while staff were nice the service was absolutely shocking! I waited 1hour for my food !!! There was people who came in 15mins after me — got starters and steak as main and I was still sitting waiting for my food as they finished theirs… Nice place but service needs to be drastically improved or place will suffer

Went during a 2 for 1 promotion. The food was tasty, and extremely good value for money.

It’s pretty decent Irish pub. There’s fun live music on Fridays, and generally there’s a happy atmosphere.
Don’t come here for the cheap drinks, though.

The food service scheme is a bit odd. You have about five different servers waiting on you. That said they were all very polite and helpful Irish girls. The food was excellent for pub style food. I was impressed. We had Bangers and Mash and Fish and Chips. Both were excellent. Very tasty.

I like the meals here, good size, good heart and good taste. We had the Fish and chips and the steak and both came out hot, fresh and incredibly tasty.
There is a certain little charm about Irish bars in Surfers Paradise, they all seem to be right next to each other and serving steak for a dollar less than the last. Whilst the steak here isn’t el primo $ 35 dollar steak, you get a good quality cut for what you pay for… usually under $ 10! Bargain.
Will be back as the chips I had on this particular visit were so crisp and soft inside… ate them all up.

Did not order anything off of the menu, just stopped in for a Guinness. Enjoyed some soccer and live music. Great atmosphere!

I can’t really talk about the food because I always come to Fiddler’s after 10pm when I’ve got my party shoes on :)
It is a great place to start your night out in Surfers Paradise away from all the idiots, the drinks are cheap-​ish and there is always a great live band playing awesome music.

This place was packed on a rainy night in Surfers, so we just had to go in to see why the crowds loved it so much? Service was friendly and we got a booth seat near the front. It is a lively place, not the place to take a new crush for a romantic, quiet, get to know you dinner! We took the $ 10 steak deal and felt a bit cheap, but hey we got some beers as well! The wait wasn’t too bad considering the crowds. And boy BIG portions! Steak, salad, chips, sauce $ 10 wow good value plus!
Salad was nice, missing a bit of dressing. Chips lots of chips, lots!!! Steak, sadly not medium, more medium-​well done. So that was a bit of a shame. However for the price, the atmosphere and the friendly staff… we didn’t mind, we walked out full and happy.

We went on an extremely busy night. We got the $ 15 crumbed chicken special which was ok and the carbonara which was pretty good. We waited for nearly ½ hour for our food, when people who were seated after us had been served and already finished meals. I wanted to enjoy this place more than i did because i love me an irish pub. It is a great place to sit and watch people pass by and enjoy a drink though.

Very nice location. tuesday steak night– 15 bucks for any steak (t-​bone, rump) which comes e.g. With giant fries and housesalad. So tasty garlic sauce! Very nice staff

There is a great atmosphere in Fiddlers no matter what time of day or night it is. It’s a rarity to find a pub or bar in the hustle and bustle of Surfers Paradise where the staff actually enjoy working there. It definitely makes a difference to the venue’s vibe! The bar staff also enjoy a good chat and a bit of banter across the bar and this is one of the few Irish pubs in Surfers that actually employees Irish people! Not only adding to the atmosphere, but it means there are staff who can actually pour a good pint of Guinness!
There is live music most nights of the week from 9pm, with a band on every Friday and Saturday night. True to their roots there is also traditional Irish entertainment there every Sunday afternoon.
In terms of food it has a great range of pub style food at great prices. I’ve found the food to always be amazing, even the specials (usually $ 10 – 15) are spot on! You definitely can’t go past the $ 10 steaks that they do for lunch and dinner! One of the main things that I LOVE about the food here is that they stick to what they’re good at; good quality pub-​style food at a reasonable price!
This is a great pub that caters for everyone, from families, to older couples and young 20-​somethings looking for a good night out, there is something for everyone in Fiddlers. This is a true testament to the hard work and dedication of the owners and management!

Best Irish pub that i’ve found in Surfers Paradise!
The food is spot on every time i go there! So good and decently priced.
Fiddlers always seems to have friendly, genuine, REAL type staff — not like most of the other pubs in Surfers.
I went there on a Sunday night, and there was a 2 piece band with a singer/​guitarist & drummer. The place was hoppin and the music was awesome!
Totally recommend this place to anyone!

One of the places i miss the most after moving away from the gold coast. Lovely atmosphere and great tasting irish food.
