Best coffee in Subiaco. They have a limited menu with good food, but(IMHO) the best coffee in Subiaco. I work nearby and recommend them over anyone else.

One of my favourite coffee shops, even with added extras to my coffee for a large jumbo size still was under $ 5, the other day I walked in and the cashier machine was not working and instead of turning me away for no coffees they gave me a free one

Have yet to experience a crap coffee from this Milk’d. Been to Maylands and to North Perth but this outlet is quieter, calmer, better music and enough seating. Cabinet food is plentiful without clearly having much left at the end of the day. The barista made a soy mocha whilst I was there, I liked that cause some baristas get all annoyed about soy. Staff are helpful and attentive. Yay!

Take the avocado, Greek fetta and tomato on for brekky, but add two poached googs. Cracker.

I often grab my ‘before work’ coffee from Milkd, they are pretty good and the service excellent. They also do a pretty yummy toasted salami sandwich.

So I didn’t think that Milkd in Maylands could be beaten, but I am afraid to say Subiaco has taken the 1st place position. The coffees from all of the Milkd I have been to are amazing. Almost perfection and that is a rare thing in the coffee world. I drink so many coffees and am always trying out different coffee shops, but this one has to be up there. They use some amazing coffee beans and just make coffees in the best way. The baristas have some serious skill and the services from everyone in there is just awesome, everyone has big smiles on their faces and are happy to have a chat to us. Big big yes.

There are several Milkd cafes around Perth, but Subiaco is fast becoming a favourite amongst my group of friends. It is everything a good coffee place should be. The staff here are always happy, very friendly and happy to crack a joke. The location is great, in the heart of Subiaco, but on a quiet backstreet. The coffee is always excellent. I have never had anything but awesome coffee from here. The food is here also top notch, if you have the time sit down and enjoy one of their filling breakfast, or grab something sweet to enjoy at work.

Popular coffee shop Milkd is now in Subiaco, tucked back on quiet Denis St in a tiny little storefront. Like all Milkd locations they do fabulous coffee. Fresh, hot and made to perfection. The baristas here have taken making coffee to an art form, and they use Essenza beans. I have never ever once had a bad or even an average coffee from Milkd. The food here is not just an after thought. They use high quality local ingredients like New Norcia breads. I prefer their No Bread Brekky, with sausage, egg, tomato and rocket. Totally delicious and a bargain at around $ 10.

I’m a big fan of these guys and this one is the newest addition to the Milk’d family. The espresso bar is stashed away on Subi’s quietly cooler Denis Street and I say with confidence; this is the best coffee you can get this neck of the woods. Like the other Milk’d shops it’s diminutive in size; the tiniest of them all, but it does what it’s meant to. Food wise there is the same small but satisfying cooked brunch along with ready-to-go paninis and sugary goods by Babycakes. Milk’d have a solid Wi-fii connection too and it’s somewhere you won’t feel like you’ve overstayed your welcome setting up with a laptop for a few hours.

I need only review the coffee in this establishment. For those that need regular fixes of GOOD coffee then listen closely. 1)Milk’d roast their coffee daily, thats every day. Coffee not used in 12 hours will be(this made me teary eyed) thrown away! 2) You can get a pint of coffee. Done. If you’re at work, make and excuse now and run out and try some coffee.

I’d read recently that Milkd received two nominations for Best Coffee Shop /Tea House at an awards thing by some posh group called Savour Australia — one for its venue in Maylands, and a second for its original premise in North Perth. I wouldn’t be surprised if this time next year it gets three nods, what with Milkd having recently opened doors to a new outlet in prestigious Subiaco. Like its sister cafés, Milkd Subi has been designed with quality, simplicity and homeliness in mind. Chocolate and coffee-coloured stripe banquettes line the walls of an intimate space that sits up to 20 people comfortably. A cosy green corner features vintage artworks on the walls, lending the venue a right-next-to-Mamma’s-kitchen vibe, while the art deco light fittings are the coolest I’ve seen outside of a classic 1920s movie. But it’s the menu that has me really hooked. With simple, hearty foods on display in a deli-style cabinet and fresh dishes prepared for breakfast and lunch, my favourite would have to be the Classic Tomato & Greek Feta stack on sourdough, drizzled with olive oil, and topped with enough avocado to ensure your green intake for the day is well taken care of, and a side salad of rocket, Pakham pear, tomato, feta, roast pepper and walnuts, topped with smoked salmon. The menu of coffee options here is as long as any cocktail list you might spy at a local lizard lounge. From mochas to macchiatos to classic cappuccinos(and even ‘bambicinos’ for the little ones) this is a place serious coffee aficionados can count on. There’s also an impressive list of teas peppered with exotic delights like ginger and lemongrass, sencha and chai. And make sure you leave a little room in your belly for sweets(the Pavlova and Raspberry Cheesecake… worth committing crimes for). Eco-conscious, minimalist in design, wholesome in its food and beverage offerings, and definitely onto a winning combination, Milkd has done an excellent job at rebooting coffee culture in Perth.
