Being female, St Leo’s College was never really an option for me. However, I have visited this all boys university accommodation at the University of Queensland St Lucia Campus. Now I know exactly what you are thinking here, and no, I wasn’t there to visit a boy in the middle of the night! In fact, as part of the UQ Sci-​Fi and Fantasy Club I was there in the St Leo’s conference room for an all night Firefly marathon. Completely nerdy, I know. The conference room is available for hire and it is nice and spacious and well air-​conditioned. There was also plenty of parking for us.
St Leo’s also has a bar (18+ of course) known as the Snake Pit where most of the socialising happens and you will often find kinds from other colleges in there too. As far as the rooms go, I have not actually been in one, but overall the college looked nice. Close to the UQ Lakes and Brisbane River, it is in a very pretty and convenient location.
