Wok Noodle

Was a regular when I lived in Kingsville… the stir fried beef or prawns with a side of rice is a real treat, the Laksa is great too… you can’t really go wrong with anything on the menu.

With a name like Wok Noodle you could be forgiven for thinking this restaurant specialises in wok-​fried noodles. As it is however, Wok Noodle is a Malaysian restaurant that is a serious contender for Melbourne’s best roti.
Like many newcomers to the area, we’ve been frequenting this restaurant since its first month in business. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and can vouch for the fact it’s all unreal.
As I can’t eat the roti, my personal favourites are the laksa (they do a gluten free version, woohoo!) fried rice, chanai, satay chicken and their one vietnamese-​ish dish, a version of phở.
Slurptastic.
