Luca Haus

Fabulous breakfast! Best french toast I have EVER had. And the service was so friendly and quick. Much appreciated after spending ten minutes sitting in a café down the road and not even being offered a menu. We walked out and were super pleased to find Luca Haus!
Their range of food is brilliant and the pantry stuffers on sale are amazingly tempting. The hot sauce range is fabulous.

Once upon a time, not so very long ago… Luca Haus was a furniture store about eight doors away from its current location.
Their rent went up and so they relocated and evolved into a specialty food store and café combo. Whilst my house has a few pieces from the old incarnation, I’m happy they made the transition.
Personally, the food and coffee served here does very little for me. On that front I’d be inclined to give it two stars.
But the specialty food store part… well that’s another matter.
Akin to a store in Queen Victoria Market’s deli section, they have a gorgeous selection of cheeses, dips and other bits and pieces you won’t find elsewhere — black rice, special sauces, fresh pasta, Bocastle gluten free pies to take home, fresh bread and coffee beans.
