Went for the Monday night all you can eat but at the same time we didn’t test this theory. They just brought out food one by one and when it stopped we didn’t ask for more Everything we had was good especially the strong tasting tzatziki, in fact everything we had had a strong taste or salty taste to it Unfortunately for me I woke up with stomach pains and had to be on the toilet for a while My friend though didn’t get sick like me so I’m not sure if it was this place or something I ate during the day I maybe back as other friends want to try it but if i get sick twice in a row from this place then I can be more certain

I was disappointed with the quality of food in this restaurant. The chicken souvlaki was dry, the service was slow, the food was bland and greasy. I’ve had Greek many times but felt that this place did not deliver! Best item on the menu for me was the strawberry daquari! But that isn’t Greek!

Its rather average to be honest which is such a shame as they could do a killing in the area having no competition in terms of cuisine. I came here with my work mates and the food took a while and the dishes werent that amazing. Customer service was ok.

I’m not Greek. But thanks to my Greek friends I’ve had 13 years of culinary experience, and by chance I was with a Greek friend. We can safely say that this is some of the best Greek restaurant food we’ve had in a long time(obviously can’t say best ever in case family take offence) I was a little concerned by some of the previous reviews, but the service brilliant. Very attentive, so maybe they’ve looked at other reviews and corrected it. Food was spot on. The high light for me was the calamaris. It was like cutting butter. We spent around $ 150, but less the 2 gins and 3 Cointreaus, it would be pretty good value for money.

I’ve eaten here twice and will happily make it a third and fourth. Love working my way thru the menu. Even brought friends along who’ve never had Greek food — now they’re fans! Can’t wait to have an excuse to go back!

I read the reviews and this doesn’t seem like the same place. My experience on a Friday lunchtime was totally wonderful. The waitress and the manager were very helpful in explaining the menu and suggesting the different combinations. My sister and I had the menu for 2. We always have time together every few months to catch up on the gossip and good food, excellent wine and a pleasant atmosphere is a must. All three were ticked. I would try this place again.

Fortunately, the first three hours are free at the Top Ryde City Shopping Centre. The six of us arrived at 1pm and at time of booking we made it known that we were«on a voucher» so we were going to have a set menu. The waitress was very nice and said she was well aware of the set menu. The drinks order was taken and the salads plus drinks arrived in 15mins. The restaurant was full and I am not sure how many were on vouchers. Everyone seemed to have the same salad bowls in front of them but no cooked food. Our mains came at 2:30pm and other tables had their mains just before us; however, they all looked as if they has arrived at 12:30pm or before. The time watching started as we had thought that 3 hours parking for lunch would be sufficient! When you go to these places on a voucher, you tend to be a bit more tolerant of times and serving but this really did take way too long. As for the food, it was OK. The salads had been made up well in advance but they were edible. Packed with lettuce. I think they were Eliniki Salata. We had the seafood meals to share. I think they were Thallasini Piatella. We were not given a menu to be able to identify what had arrived. The Fish Souvlaki(fish cubes on sticks?) were good. The Grilled King Prawns looked good but were a bit dry. The Grilled Calamari and Grilled Octopus were a bit tough but tasted OK. The Lightly Battered Fish wasn’t lightly battered and had a few bones. The Hot Seafood Salad in a creamy sauce, served on scallop shell was a mystery when it arrived. It required a bit of digging with the skewer from the souvlaki to discover a mussel and prawn hiding in the sauce. Not sure why pita bread and chips are served. there was no dip for the pita bread and the chips were only soso. I looked up the menu on the internet and the seafood platter was $ 39.50pp. We paid $ 35 for two and this included the salad and a soft drink. If we had walked in off the street and paid full price I would have been peeved for so many reasons. I would still think twice before going back, even on a voucher.

I went with a group of four adults plus one baby on Saturday for lunch. We ordered the snapper, squid, lamb shoulder and slow cooked beef for our mains as well as a side of vegetables. My order was the lamb shoulder. The vegetables took about 15 minutes to arrive and the mains about 30 to 40 minutes. This was disappointing especially given that the restaurant had on average about 4 other groups of patrons at any one time. My lamb shoulder was cooked perfectly and it easily came off the bone but it was too salty. I am not that familiar with Greek cuisine but I do not think that any cuisine has their meats cooked with that much salt. Given that the lamb made up the overwhelming majority of my meal, it was disappointing to wait that long for a meal that was rather difficult to enjoy. Also, the menu indicated that with my lamb dish I could select either rice or chips. I selected rice but when my meal came out I had neither rice or chips. I tried some of the squid and that was beautifully cooked and came in a generous serving. Mains range from $ 22 to about $ 30. In terms of payment, the waiter billed us for dinner prices instead of the prices stated in the lunch menu. The waiter was attentive and the restaurant is well spaced with wide aisles so as to easily encompass prams. Baby seats available. The interior fit out is beautiful with an open glass panel allowing patrons to view their skewers being cooked slowly over the fire. Overall the ambience and fit out was great and the restaurant is family friendly. Pricing was decent and food portions generous. Unfortunately the time it took to make the food and the over saltiness of my meal made the experience less than satisfactory.

It took 15 minutes for anyone to take our order. We were ignored several times by wait staff. It took 30 minutes before our bottle of sparkling water arrived. 1 hour and counting and still no food. WORSTSERVICEEVER!!! I was tempted to walk out several times while waiting but we had no other options, being late into the night. What kind of restaurant takes an hour to cook a meal?! And the restaurant stinks too. Like the wood they used on their tables wasn’t treated at all. The first time you walk in, it smells like rotten shit. We should’ve just eaten at the food court. The food was very average. I feel like this type of food is more at par with food court fare. The chicken souvlaki my husband ordered was very dry, bland and overcooked. The moussaka I ordered looked like it was just heated up in a microwave yet it took over an hour to be served. I could probably make better moussaka at home. Our bill total was $ 64. I felt robbed as I handed my card to the cashier to pay. We were given no apologies or an offer of a discount from staff for making us wait that long. I just wasted an hour and a half of my life at this sorry excuse of a restaurant. AVOIDATALLCOSTS! Consider this a public service announcement. DON’T MAKETHESAMEMISTAKEWEDID!
