Prima Luna

I have been to this restaurant many times and have always experienced the same fantastic service, quality fresh food and reasonably priced.
I find the ambience is no problem, the décor is new and contemporary and the TV’s are part of any italian restaurant.
Highly recommend the Pizza’s, Scampi or the many pastas.

This is my neighborhood Italian restaurant but I wish there was a bit more «neighborhood» to it. Instead it’s a bit too big, bright and lacking décor. It feels more like a place where you’d host a big banquet, rather than a quiet dinner. I don’t like the 3 or 4 TVs throughout the place.
Ambience aside, I thought the food was quite good. There is a lot to choose from on the entrees, salads, mains and pizza menu’s. Particularly, I had the scallops, pancetta wrapped prawns and the crab gnocchi. All was very good. The desserts are also quite good (I had ricotta cheesecake — but warning, it comes with currants within).
Once it’s summer, you can enjoy the outdoor tables which may give it a more neighborhood feel. They also have a good take away and gelato business.
