This is a cute café that sits on the corner of Pyrmont Street and Pyrmont Bridge Rd. I’ve been here a few times now as it is close to our Pyrmont office and ideal for meetings(it’s pretty quiet). Coffee Bite has a few solid things going for it. It’s quiet, it’s in a great location, and it has both indoor seating(nice benches with couch cushions) and outdoor(under shade umbrellas). The music is interesting as it appears someone has decided to rearrange classics and sing them in a different style. I can only remember Roxanne right now, but they’ve done everything from Pearl Jam to Nancy Sinatra. Their key ingredient though is their customer service. The staff are so super duper friendly and happy, you’ll think Pharell Williams runs the place. I can’t help but leave with a smile on my face whenever I am here. Unfortunately they use Vittoria coffee which is not my favourite bean, despite Al Pacino spruiking it — Hoo-Haa! Also, whilst the bacon and egg w/BBQ sauce on a torpedo roll is exceptional, I’m not so sure about the other food options. It all looks very basic. The coffee + food would probably have me at 3-stars, but the ambience and friendliness of the staff pushes me to a 4.
