The best view of the El Alamein fountain you can get while still nursing a coffee. Or, in my case, a green tea. I’m trying to cut down to one coffee a day. It’s going okay, except on the days it’s not going okay.
The only choice here is the outside tables. Stalk them if you have to, but being on the street and nibbling on a pastry while people walk by and the fountain tinkles is like being in downtown Paris, we don’t have a lot of good pavement cafes where you can sit on a little promontory, but Marcelle nails it. And they do that thing where they give you a pot of green tea that’s good for, like, three cups. That’s a lot of tea. Good luck to the people waiting for you to vacate the good table because you can stretch your stay out to over an hour if you sip real small.

It’s great to see another top café in Potts point. Sitting in the sunshine on a winters Sunday taking in a perfect strong latte, and big breakfast with my girlfriend couldn’t have been better. My favourite part, the chunky sweet and juicy mushrooms and perfect poached eggs.

This place is great and serves great food at a good price. On the weekend, you could stroll around the markets then cross the road and have brunch/​lunch here. It’s one of my new favourite places in Sydney.

Not bad! I was left quite pleased despite ordering a pretty conservative meal — Porridge and coffee (I was under the weather).
To be fair, this is polenta porridge with pear, rhubarb and ginger, so it’s got a lot more personality than what you’d originally have thought. It is the perfect breakfast for the colder mornings and absolutely heart warming.
I am very eager to try more if I’m ever in the area!

I have to say, I’ve stayed at Potts Point for 3 nights and 4 days and this is the ultimate place for your breakfast. It is officially my favorite.
I highly highly recommend you get the Poached Eggs with a side of smoked salmon. So worth it. They give it to you on a cutting board and your first impression is «Wow…how am I going to eat this?». As you cut into the poached egg, the yolk slowly spills over the sweet, fresh corn and the crunchy bread. The corn was the best part in my opinion which added sweetness to the dish. I couldn’t stop putting the fork in my mouth. Get it!

Tiny café (3 tables outside, 1 larger at the back and bar sittings) where you should go only for 2 as sittings are quite limited.
I am not a coffee fan so cannot judge that, but the food was delicious. I had the white polenta porridge with pear/​rhubarb/​ginger compote and caramelised almonds — it was to die for. Quite unusual and absolutely perfect. The food is good value (many options below 12 $).
I was disappointed by the fresh orange juice (too bitter).
A lot of fresh paleo pastries looked delicious.
The atmosphere is nice but it is not the type of place you would stay for too long. Service feels a bit disorganised as well (only 1 cashier so you have to queue after people ordering takeaway when you want to leave!)
I will be back to try other things if I am in the area and want a quick bite !

This is a little place on Potts Point. They have good, strong and dark coffee.
I would give this place 5 stars if I haven’t tried the other cafés in the area. But I have. This is not the best place here, but it is good.
I haven’t tried the food just the coffee. The food might be awesome, I wouldn’t know. I’ll try the food one day and edit my review.
