Dizzy Witch has the best veggie breakfast going in Perth that I’ve tasted. The coffee was great too. It is quite busy on the weekends but well worth it. Love this place.

The Dizzy Witch Café is a very simple, casual place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. The service is super friendly and the food is delicious. I daydream about the Wizard’s breakfast which is simply superb. I particularly like the fact they have so many vegetarian options on their menu. Not only that, but their dishes also have lots of different veggies in them, so after one stop at the Dizzy Witch, I actually feel like I’ve met my nutritional requirements for the day all in one meal! They also have a chess set, books, magazines, papers and even some colouring in for the kids. Nice!

Its hard to be objective in this review because I had been looking forward to a slap up brekkie at The Tuck Shop. The 45 minute wait for a table however, meant we meandered off to find somewhere else. The Dizzy Witch serves up normal brekkie fare and feels a little noncompetitive in the crazy developments that are happening in the area. I ordered the smoked salmon frittata which was ok but not amazing. The staff were lovely but unfortunately there is a complete lack of atmosphere. I did have a look at their cake selection and I think I should definitely head back to sample the sugary delights. Maybe a sugar load might present a different atmosphere.

Meals and drinks are ordered and paid for at the counter and then delivered to your table. I ordered a fresh carrot, apple, orange and ginger juice($ 6). It was just what I needed after an hour of walking. I’m not sure what kind of juicer they use(perhaps a slow press?) but it was great — really creamy and thick with the perfect balance of ingredients. I was really happy that it didn’t have iceblocks but was still really cold. I’m not a fan of ice in fresh juices because of the separation as the ice melts. The menu has cute names like«Griselda’s Eggs Benedict» and«Mushrooms on Toast Esmerelda». I ordered the«Warlock’s Last Meal» — organic bacon, free range eggs(cooked to your choice) on your choice of toast, grilled roma tomato, potato rosti, Dizzy’s mushrooms & beef chipolata for $ 20. It was a pretty standard ‘big breakfast’ but it was well done. The generous serve of mushrooms were in a delicious herbed creamy sauce, the potato rosti was crisp on the outside with soft smooth potato inside and the eggs were perfectly poached. Service was good and both my drink and food were served with minimal wait despite it being a busy morning.

Enjoyed coming into this café for a coffee and some cake! Interior is cute. Bright colours and essence of witch business with a black cat(fake) in the corner. There was space to move but it still felt intimate. I had a slice of cheesecake and an ice coffee– $ 13 though?! Perth sure knows how to live the expensive life! I will give kudos to staff! They were super friendly and made me feel welcome. I like the area too. I’ll definitely have a look at this place for lunch another time :)

Spell binding experience and one I was already excited with anticipation to try this quietly tucked away café from the moment I heard about it! When I arrived and walked in the atmosphere was great! Calm and friendly you could already tell it had a few regular customers chatting away with the wonderful staff! Plenty of comfortable seating and cushions and lovely tucked in window seating I was able to relax with the daily papers they have available to read and up date my Facebook with free wifi! Sipping on my Carmel Milkshake I was already delighted! Followed by one of the most perfectly cooked muffins warmed up, the chocolate and berries melt in your mouth! One of the most amazing muffins I have ever indulged in! Homemade to scrumptious perfect. Then after a short wait out came the moment I was waiting for! My fully cooked breakfast cleverly named The Warlocks Last Meal; Organic Bacon served with Free Ranged Eggs(cooked to your preference) On your choice of Toast, Roma Tomato, Potato Rosti, Dizzy’s Mushrooms and Beef Chipolata. All cooked perfectly to my liking it couldn’t have been presented any better, and the Mushroom sauce was one creamy touch never too forget from the second I dipped my egg and toast in! Yes, it was only breakfast in a tucked away street, but from the moment I walked in this nicely, spacious and friendly café I was won over! A new found favorite spot and a must to stop in and try!

A cool name for a café and tucked away in north Northbridge. The café has interesting décor that reminds me of Halloween. I enjoyed my flat soy here but the poached eggs that I ordered along with the other people on my table were over cooked so they were not runny as I prefer them to be. But I’d be happy to go again — perhaps they always make poached eggs like that. It’s an area in Northbridge that’s new to me so I’ll go back again when I’m back in Northbridge.

Atmosphere is important to me at a café or restaurant and Dizzy Witch is very lacking in that department. Indoor plants, brown wicker chairs and lime green cushions, it’s all very nineties. The décor reminds me of Jerry Seinfeld’s apartment. Unfortunately the dated surroundings have not been redeemed by the food in my experience. I ordered a breakfast with avocado on toast and a side of roasted roma tomatoes. The avocado was not fresh and more khaki green than bright green. The tomatoes were nowhere near roasted and would have been more accurately described as ‘microwaved tomatoes’. My soy cap was even worse; the coffee was burnt and horribly bitter. Very disappointing, the name is so cute!

Wi fi enabled, free range eggs and chicken, organic ham and bacon, awesome and adorable meal names like ‘The Warlock’s Last Meal’ and ‘Hocus Pocus Chicken Burger’… Yep, The Dizzy Witch is the perfect café. The Dizzy Witch on Brisbane Street really has it all. Excellent food and service, competitive prices, and, for mad hippies such as myself, plenty of vegetarian options. The café is decorated to Dizzy Witch perfection, perfect for breakfast or lunch out with family and friends, and going there will definitely bring out the child and/or Harry Potter fanatic in you.
