This is a little inconspicuous store that you’ll easily miss if you don’t look for it. But that would be a huge waste, because it is awesome.
They stock all kind of models for hobbyists. From medieval ships to modern cars and models of V8 engines. Everything is here. Shelves full of all kinds of ways to spend time and make something cool. The staff is friendly and ready to help although they do have a certain fee for their service which I don’t fully understand.
Don’t mistake this for a toy shop. Vast majority of stuff in here requires assembly and some of it is very very complex. Sure, any kid can get behind an RC car but when it costs 800 dollars and requires major assembly, they lose their eagerness.
But if you are not afraid to get your hand dirty, go for it.

Perth Hobby Centre is situated just on the outskirts of the main shopping hub of the city. Bright yellow, it often entices me to go inside and have a wander around.
Their selection is pretty good, stocking model cars, action figures, trains and the like and the staff are always willing to give you a helping hand. Though while perhaps a haven for hobbyist, perhaps not the best place to go shopping for your kids Christmas presents. Toys are available in the store, but the stock is limited. I get the vibe from the quiet store though, that that may just be the way they like it.
Definitely worth a look if you’re a collector, or if collecting is something you’re looking to get into!
