So you think you’re a gamer? None of that electronic stuff. I’m talking old school tabletop gaming that can withstand the toughest blackouts and Stormageddons. Tactics is the place to head to for gear but then you probably all ready know this and ready to impart your 5c of knowledge should I miss something else.
The staff here know their stuff. Not just the surface knowledge that can be gleaned from associated product pamphlets. While visiting I heard conversations concerning World of Warcraft, Pokemon, Dungeons and Dragons, several releases of the Magic the Gathering, Warhammer and the choosing of dice.
It’s a small shop underground but the shelves are magical bags of holding of accessories, expansion decks, paint, terraform, books, (novels, walk through guides, reference guides), figurines, and more!
That’s the shop. Let’s talk about the foyer upon entry. Tables are set up for gaming and trading cards. On a pin up board there are a myriad of flyers and posters advertising tournaments, training nights, and conventions, (grassroots home grown in Perth as well as national and international ones).

Hidden downstairs in the basement of London Court is Tactics, Perth’s premier fantasy and wargaming shop. For lovers of geeky board and card games this place is where it’s at. They hold regular tournaments for all the geeky goodness you can imagine: Catan, Magic, WOW, you name it.
Tactics also sells graphic novels, reference books, collectables, models and figurines… It’s basically all your geek needs under one roof. Which is under another roof. Because it’s in a basement.
And that makes visiting so very, very awesome.
