The side show themed café is the perfect spot for a quick pick up and run or a long lunch in the sunshine. Featuring a large selection of fresh rolls, sandwiches, quiches, pastries, and sweet treats, the café is convenient, colourful and quirky! When I realised Obsesso Espresso served Croque-Monsieur my mind was made. Basically it’s a ham and cheese toastie, but the amount of glorious cheese in that sandwich got me very excited! Double layers! As well as the usual ham and cheese suspects, a lovely zesty relish featured in the bite, and I probably could have eaten two.

Tasty coffee. Friendly staff and near the entrance so no need to battle a crowd or enter into an ultimately unfulfilling should-I-have-this, should-I-have-that, walk-through-the-whole-place type quandary. The pulled pork wrap with tasty pork, some mixed up nuts, chilli bbq sauce and diced and sliced apples is the bomb. Sometimes being totally incapable of bringing lunch from home is awesome.

If you’re looking for good coffee and muffins, this is the place! The coffee is awesome with my only complaint being that they only serve one size. The mocha or hot chocolate is good too! The staff are friendly and remember your order when you are a regular. I also like to drop by and get Bircher Muesli for breakky after my early morning swims! However, the best thing about Obsesso is the muffins! Every day they have three different flavours of sweet and savoury muffins such as pumpkin and caramelised onion or banana and caramel or Portobello mushroom. all if which aren’t your standard choc chip, orange poppyseed or blueberry. Saying that, today’s muffins were ‘Mushroom & Feta’, ‘Peach & Almond’ and ‘Dark Choc & White Choc’. I love trying the new muffins and find it hard not to try each one. Other food products worth mentioning are the freshos, choc banana or ginger bread and the Brownies! If you’re a Terrace worker, its definitely worth trying.
