Fone Ezy

Awesome service here. Took my phone here yesterday as the screen was completely smashed and you could not see or use the phone at all.
I went to another place and was quoted $ 250 to fix it, but Fone EZY repaired my phone for a much better price at $ 190 and had it fixed within 1 hour!
I have my precious phone back now and this saved my from having to pay many hundreds more to buy a completely new phone. They also gave me a receipt with a 3 month warranty on my phone, should it break down again after their repairs, they will fix again for free. I like that they give a 3 month warranty on their work; it just goes to show that they are confident and know what they are doing enough to guarantee their services.

Fone Ezy is a small shop hidden in Piccadilly arcade. I was referred to «Geoff» — the phone guru, from a reputable source (Vodafone around the corner) I had previously been quoted in excess of $ 400 to repair my iPhone– which is ludicrous considering I got it for $ 60 as it had just been superseded by the i4 so when Geoff had a quick look and said he could replace the screen and the reader chip for $ 110 I almost squealed with joy.
I came back in an hour, as advised by the girl at the counter and it still wasn’t fixed.. . hmmmm, I came back 3 hours later and was told, much to my disappointment that due to the damage they actually wouldn’t be able to repair it, as it would be more expensive than just replacing it. So I thought– stuff that– I’ll take my phone to Thailand and have it fixed for $ 20, until then I had to bite the bullet and improvise.
I browsed the store and found an android that looked like it would do the job and it came with a small, travel sized curling wand. Perfect for one of my friends with long hair– all for $ 99. Perfect. However when the girl gave me the box it was significantly larger so I double checked it only to find that my «curling wand» had been replaced with a dorky straw hat and poxy sunnies– no, no, no– I explained that even though the phone was the same, the one I asked for is the one I wanted and it was quite a timely process for her to go out the back and explain she didn’t have any in stock. It took me to say I was happy to take the display phone for her to concede, process the refund and recharge the amount to the correct item. What a stuff around.
Long story short, while Fone Ezy has potential, for me is was empty promises broken dreams and a bad joke to finish it off with. I’m happy with my phone, but not what I had to go through to get it, still a little sour about my broken iPhone but I’m sure this will heal in time. This store is always busy; maybe they’ll expand soon and perhaps consider 2 staff on the counter to speed up the waiting time.
