I stopped in for my morning cappuccino and panini only to be surprised with the option of a chicken, roast pumpkin, feta, pine nuts, and spinach wrap that was easily twice the size of the panini. I had to have one as they were only $ 8.40! I had it toasted and I ordered my normal reg cappuccino to go. Wow, coffee was fantastic and well priced and the wrap was to did for! I have found my new favorite stop on my south of the river route!

This lunch bar slash espresso bar does GREAT coffee. Using Fiori beans, this is my go to coffee bar while I’m at work if I’m in need of a decent coffee hit. Sometimes the coffee machine at work just doesn’t cut it. I’m sure you all agree! Basically my four stars are given for the excellent coffee here. Unfortunately everything else is pretty average. The actual décor is very simple, very lunch bar-esqué and the food is stock standard wraps, muffins etc. But go here for a coffee if you need a caffeine hit when in the area!

I had an odd experience a couple of months back of driving a musician friend of mine from the Perth airport along Canning Highway; he’s hardcore vegan and the airline hadn’t fed him anything he could eat. I stopped at about ten different places on the way back to Fremantle, including this one. There was absolutely nothing even remotely vegetarian except a curry but it was breakfast so we didn’t roll with that. Anyway, this is a crap story that is going nowhere but the point is there ain’t much in the way of vego options here, though it did lead me to the purchase of a latte. It was a good latte. I’m understating; ITWASANAWESOMELATTE. If you want the best coffee in Applecross, come here. Further to that, if you eat meat(or its’ derivatives), they have a great range of food. Just not a great place to hit if you’re a vegan.
