Sure it’s extortionately expensive, just like everything at the airport, but they stock some great WA products. Mostly chocolate. Make your flight that bit sweeter with some chocolate covered pretzels. Or challenge yourself to buy them as a gift for someone at your destination, then end up eating them all on the plane anyway. The rest of the store is a mishmash of souvenirs(you know clip on koalas, akubras, all that Australiana business) plus a mix of newsagency type products.

Australian Way at the Perth Domestic Airport sells everything from cutesy souvenirs to an impressive Carri-On range of luggage. If you’re after a little something to placate the kids, like a colouring book or a cuddly toy, you’ll find it here. And, as the shop name suggests, that colouring book or cuddly toy will be undeniably Australian. Kangaroos, emus, wombats… All your stock-standard Aussie animals are here — and in every imaginable way: as coasters, jewellery, backpacks, snow globes, stubbie holders… If you’re after a typical Aussie souvenir gift, this is the place you’re gonna find it. That being said, Australian Way also offers a few practical gifts for travellers, too — like travel pillows and crossword books. So all in all, it’s not bad. Though it does definitely cater toward the clichéd and cheesy, Australian Way has plenty to enjoy.
