Storia is an absolutely gorgeous store. Everything in here is organic, recycled, Earth friendly, people friendly encouraging fair trade and production.
The store sells a small selection of men and women’s clothing. These pieces are comprised of organic cotton which is soft and from Sydney, Thailand and India. The men’s clothes were my favourite as the designs were simple and comfortable the women’s was quite quirky earthen woman of the trees but with an expensive spin to it. These clothes cost a bit more than average but you pay for the extra effort that has been put in place for these to be made.
The children’s clothes are so sweet and I wish that I could wear some of these items. The same goes with pricing and materials used.
The jewellery here is unbelievable made from old trinkets recycled and pre used materials. There are some really grungy creative pieces to some cute and pretty pastel rings and earrings which are also nice.
They have a range of Murchison-​Hume organic home cleaning products which are stylish as well as practical.
Storia provides earth friendly children’s toys, which are made out of recycled materials. My favourite was the ‘recycling truck’ toy which not only would be fun for a tot to play with but is instilling good ideas into them as well. I am returning to pick up some of their crayons, which are so beautiful. They are made from tree twigs that have naturally fallen to the ground-​not picked with the crayon going through the centre ($ 8).

Lovers of all beautiful things you will love Storia; a trove of wanders with its simple but elegant floor space merchandised in neutral and earthy tones, with large wooden cabinets, shelves, mirrors, vintage mannequins displaying precious pieces and one glistening crystal chandelier adding a little bit of luxe and glamour to the very organic feel of this boutique.
Storia stocks everything from organic colourful and cute children’s clothing to sweetly inscribed ceramic tags, gold leaf roll perfume, a selection of delicate and soft women’s clothing to amazing printed pillows — to cut a long story short Storia has everything you could possibly want or need and a lot more. A beautiful boutique perfect for gift shopping for something special and unique.

Wow, what a gorgeous, gorgeous find. This store is called Storia because every product has a story behind it. Well, every product ever made has a story behind it. I think the owner of this shop means that every product has an inspirational story behind it. OK, fair call.
All products here are ethical and sustainable. This means you’ll find a plethora of products that are fair trade, recycled, up-​cycled and organic. I was certainly impressed by what I discovered…
Storia stocks jewellery from a New York designer who uses tyre innards to make her products. They have to seen to be believed and really are quite cool. Another designer they stock creates pieces with a heavy and industrial feel. I saw a necklace constructed from an old dice, miniature skull and whistle. Certainly different.
While much of the jewellery is edgy and chic this store provides for wide ranging interests. Their baby and children’s selection is just gorgeous. Baby clothes that are ethically made and soft as silk will make mums gaga. The clothes are obviously more expensive than other options but, hot tip: 50 percent off at the moment makes them a more than reasonable buy.
Ladies clothes are exorbitant prices and often quite eccentric. But, the right people with the right amount of money will fall in love with the original instantly.
Even if you’re not cashed up there are some lovely knicknacs you can pick up for a reasonable price. I love the baby card that comes complete with organic seedlings. Inscribed in the card are the words: Watch the flowers bloom as your baby blossoms. There really is something for everyone here.

Storia is a lovely little boutique peddling ethical and fairtrade ‘stories and wares’ (their phrase not mine… I certainly saw wares for sale, but stories? I suppose they come later…). They sell men’s, women’s and children’s clothing made from organic cotton, most of which are good quality, neutral basics. There’s a cabinet full of beautiful jewellery by Ghost & Lola, and a collection of gorgeous, colourful shoes and clutch bags. There’s a range of really nice organic and fairtrade cosmetics and perfumes, plus some totally beautiful wrapping paper and stationery. Everything in here is nice and ethically sourced, so you can feel all warm and fuzzy inside when you shop here. Definitely worth checking out for the jewellery, accessories and cosmetics. Plus, the woman who works is here is possibly the nicest and friendliest shop assistant in the world.
