Cibo Espresso

Not a bad little café. Can get quite busy and I expect it to get busier with the growth in Nundah.
Coffee is decent and well made with a large variety of food options available.

The staff at Cibo Nundah were unable to fathom the most simple of orders. I have made the same order at a number of Cibo’s Australia wide and I was shocked when I was met with such a condescending, unhelpful response. If instant coffee was my only other choice, I would happily take it.

I’ve been to lots of Cibo stores and the service and product were good, but Nundah is the complete opposite. The manager (the lady with short blonde hair) was really patronizing to both the Cibo staff and my friends and I as customers. We had to explain our very simple order multiple times, and after having the wrong thing brought to us twice, we decided to leave rather than continue the frustrating, awkward experience.

I’ll admit I was being a little precious thinking Cibo Nundah wouldn’t be any more than your average chain café. Stopping in for a meeting, my preconceptions were fairly swiftly blown away by the friendly smiles, tip-​top customer service and relaxed atmosphere. Nestled in a new complex in Nundah, which you know will only be a matter of time before it’s a bustling hub in this growing suburb, Cibo offers a range of café food, gelato and coffee. There’s free Wi-​Fi too so it’s a great spot to spend a few hours working away whilst sipping on a strong latte and sampling their mushroom & truffle toasted snack. I might not get to Nundah often, but when I do, I know this surprise package is there.
