Nice busy place. Bustling shopping area. Colorful seating places. Good food quantity. Hard to find a place to sit. Breakfast and lunch. Efficient staff. Reasonable prices.

Why can’t the waitress take the food to the right table??? Every table has a number and so does the order docket — so please pay attention and try to be more efficient — sometimes people will eat the food even though it’s not what they ordered!!!

Jack’s is a great little café and located centrally smack bang in the middle of Norwood Place. They have a good layout of tables and use heaps of colour in their décor which is fun and inviting. Once you place your order for beverages you are given a buzzer which goes off when it is made and ready to be picked up from the counter. I feel this is very Melbourne-esque and perhaps unnecessary here in little old Adelaide but nevertheless it is the process they choose. There are heaps of newspapers for customer viewing which is great and it also seems to be busy every time I walk past. They also offer some really great combination deals such as Macaroon and Coffee for $ 4.90 or Cake and Coffee for $ 6.90. The breakfast menu looks reasonable although it is missing raisin toast which is my favourite part of breakfast and should be a staple on all menus. The coffee is good and it has now recently begun trading in Sunday’s where you can receive a free juice or hot drink with any Breakfast bought during the day.
