I order a supreme pizza and pasta bolognese, it was most bland pizza and pasta I have ever had. You couldn’t taste the cheese or sauce on the pizza if there was even any on it, and it had minimal topping. One piece of pineapple per slice of pizza. Seriously for the cost you think you could see and taste some veggies. Don’t waste your money. Stick to the places you know and love. I won’t be ordering again.

My first experience with crust was really excellent. Good fresh ingredients, nice tasting thin crust. Simple toppings. So trying it for the second time for takeout I was looking forward to trying different pizza and different salad. First problem came when I received a call 40 minutes after I had placed the order to tell me they didn’t have on of the items I had ordered on the menu(anymore the app wasn’t updated or the website). So I opted for another salad. We had the Margherita pizza and the baby spinach, beetroot walnut herb and honey dressing salad. What we got was basically a butt load of spinach and 3 or 4 pieces of small beetroot and 4 or 5 pieces of feta. No herbs. No walnuts. No dressing. We also ordered the Margherita, which arrived with no basil(despite the ingredients showing fresh basil). Pretty disappointed with it to be honest. Who has a Margherita without basil? All in all good tasting food with fresh ingredients however if you want consistency don’t get crust pizza.

The first time I tried Crust it seemed like I was onto something incredible but now after a few visits I have decided the hype is not quite justified — although having said that I will still probably go back for more. There are good points about Crust: — Their flavour combinations and pizza varieties are good. Pulled pork with slaw and duck ragu are some of the more interesting available choices. — The interior of the store is clean and bright, and feels welcoming. It’s nice to be able to watch the construction of your pizza from start to finish and to see all the fresh ingredients in front of you. — If you join their instore club(for free) the delivery is free! However, that’s about where the positives end for me. The price for a pizza that seves one(or two less hungry people) is the same as I would pay for a main at a mid-priced restaurant. The pizzas are pretty good but for the price I don’t feel like it’s good value. In my opinion the best thing on the menu value wise used to be the calzones(especially the rocky road dessert calzone, OMG) but now they have taken them off! Crust you have broken my calzone loving heart :’( On my last occasion of ordering from Crust they lost another star. My pizza arrived lukewarm and lacking it’s usual fresh taste. My Elvis crumble dessert didn’t have any sign of fresh banana on it, despite it being inn the description. It was very dry and as soon as I picked up a slice most of the ingredients fell off. This only made me sadder and miss my rocky road calzone more. Crust definitely has the potential to be an amazing gourmet pizza place but unfortunately it’s not quite up in the 5 star range for me yet.

Clean and bright. You can see the whole pizza construction from dough to cutting. Interesting menu with great toppings. Ordered two veg gourmet no cheese and they washed the cutter without having to be asked even though I didn’t specifically say vegan. Great bases and topped well, cooked perfectly. Well be back for sure.

This is one of a new line of «healthier» traditional takeaways. We have seen a number of pop up «healthy» burger bars all over Adelaide — well Crust Gormet Pizza gives pizza the same treatment. The pizzas are a little on the pricier side(similar to what you would pay in an Italian restraunt — however, they taste GREAT! I decided to give this one a go the other night — and was pleasently surprised when I walked in and saw an array of fresh ingredients right in front of me. The pizza from base onwards is made right in front of you — the ingedients are piled high — and you can see exactly where your pizza is at all times :) The staff were very friendly and very efficient :) One of the things that drew me to Crust in the first place, was their policy on dealing with food allergies — all of their pizzas on the menu, have a symbol key to tell you if they are gluten free, fish free, vego etc. While they dont guarentee that their pizzas they do everything they can to make sure the risk of cross contamination is minimised. I also noted that they appear to only charge a $ 3 delivery charge(which is much better than some of their so called«cheaper» counterparts. I will definitely be eating from Crust Gormet Pizza again :)

I had the pleasure of trying Crust for the first time last Saturday and boy was it amazing! Cooked to perfection with just the right amount of toppings and wonderful combinations of ingredients. I was particularly impressed while in the store to see so many different kinds of ingredients for pizzas, and the staff were very efficient. I also had a cookies and cream dessert which was rich but delicious. I am out of the delivery range, but will make a special trip to come down for Crust from now on!
