Twenty Eight Espresso was a breath of fresh air when it opened earlier this year — finally, a café on Sailors Bay Road that actually makes good (Campos) espresso. The shopfront itself is tiny — just a handful of seats, a drinks fridge and Andy the barista/​owner working away from behind the counter. There are consistent queues throughout the morning and right before closing time, but if you live in the area and aren’t keen to start your day with a sub-​par brew, it’s definitely worth the wait. For all those picky soy drinkers out there (that includes me) they also just secured Bonsoy as a regular supplier. Woot!
