Pleasantly greeted upon coming in, and able to stay past closing as I was waiting on someone, in simpler terms for a coffee shop — very accommodating. There mocha was delicious albeit you do pay the price for it and though I was hungry I simply couldn’t justify the $ 10 for a heated and loaded bagle. On a whole — very happy and when in the area would go back!

Sip Café used to be a cute little hole-in-the-wall café. Due to the growing popularity of it’s great coffee, ever friendly service and recently introduced breakfast menu, Sip has had a makeover, including an extension. Great news, seeing as previously it was often hard to get a seat, and now there’s plenty of room to spread out and enjoy a yummy breakfast. In the 20 – 30 times I have been to Sip I have never had a bad coffee, not once! This is a big feat considering they use Di Bella which I previously found to be mild and a bit boring. I have been silenced! I recently popped in to try their new breakfast menu and was so pleased to see that, once again, Sip had hit the nail on the head. I did that annoying thing that girlfriends sometimes do where we openly toss up between two items on the menu in the hope that the boyfriend will order whatever we don’t get. Success! I had the pancakes with fresh mango, lychees and vanilla bean ice cream and my partner had the eggs bene. Both very delicious! The portions were generous also. There’s no reason not to visit Sip if you love a good coffee, brekky, newspaper combination. The owner Tarree makes an effort to learn all the regulars names off by heart and is always friendly and inviting. It may not be as aesthetically pleasing as some of the other cafes in the area, but it makes up for it in every other department.
