This is a great little café nestled literally at the end of Brunswick Street on the edge of New Farm park near the Citycat terminal. Breezy, quiet and welcoming and they even let me bring my dog inside! Their iced lattes are divine — definitely try one! The food menu offers just enough choices but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think it needed expanding. Luckily, everything was so good it didn’t matter!

Sitting right near the NewFarm Park Ferry Terminal this little café can get extremely busy. We went on a Sunday morning and it was packed with the usual assortment of families, tourists and Lycra clad cyclists. I have to say if you’re in a rush on a busy morning this probably isn’t the stop for you. When we walked in we were told that there would be a 5 – 10 minute wait before we would even be served because they had a backlog of orders already. When we were served we just ordered two frappes and one of them was the wrong flavour but I didn’t have the heart to go back and tell them because the 3 girls were run off their feet trying to keep up with the steady flow of customers. I would’ve loved to sit at the café and enjoy the spectacular views but every single spot was taken so we got our order to go and sat in the lovely NewFarm park. The frappes were nice but nothing special but I would like to give this café another try when it’s not so busy, mind you I’ve walked past a few times now and it always seems quite full.

What a delightful spot to stop, smell the roses or take advantage of the free WiFi and get some work done with river views. Situated right before the New Farm Park CityCat terminal you can imagine it’s a popular destination. On the morning I arrived there was a mix of families(school holidays), a few business people have business meetings, and travelers on their tour of Brisbane. It’s relaxing. The menu is simple: coffee, standard café fare like cakes, banana bread and Turkish bread sandwiches to toast. There’s a banana chai shake that caught my attention, too. On this visit I ordered an iced latte and a banana bread. The service is friendly and I’d have such a sunny disposition too if that was my office view! Sipping my chilled coffee drink, over looking the river, New Farm Park to my left and gentle sunshine over head — I gotta say there’s worse ways to spend a quick 30mins.

This nifty little café is all about location, location, And location! Whilst the fare is really not anything special not nothing to rave home about, it does have a selection of ready to eat treats such as Bircher muesli and baked good etc to accompany it’s not so shabby coffee. The end of the road café has given an option to the sparse choice that was previously available at this end of new farm. I find them a convenient option for commuters, people on the go like park runners and those of us who’d rather take away to sit in thee serenity of new farm park. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come and dine here often, but I can most certainly say that it has a stellar site with an easy flow for a quick coffee grab post park work out. I would love to see them in the future adding a better breakie menu to make it more of a place I want to socialize in for hours.

As long as I stay in Brisbane, it’s my 1st stop every morning. Quiet, silent music, at the river, open all easter days(10% surcharge on public holidays). And free WiFi.

Cute little café right next to the new farm park ferry terminal. Various art on the walls for sale and a little library to read while you enjoy the river views. Had a great patio where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a light meal. A very welcome addition to new farm park. Had an iced long black and it was quite delicious on a humid day while out for a walk.
