This beach is wonderfully long and perfect for a walking work out. There were surfers and families out on Sunday despite the cooler temperatures since summer and sand was relatively clean of seaweed or other wash ups. There’s the surf life saving clubs little café or Dome close by for a quick sand side coffee too.

This beach is great for families as it has a huge park area with play equipment. It is clean and free parking(unlike cottesloe). Perfect place if you are having an informal meet up/picnic and bbq with some friends. I’ve never encountered jellyfish(like at the jettys marina) or much rubbish. Go to Mullaloo fish bar and then drive it over to the beach to watch the sunset. Only set back about this place is that in summer months and hot days it can get extremely busy. And later at night on the weekends a bit dodgy because it is opposite the pub. If you want a quieter beach — but without the park, bbq and other facilities — but a good clean nice beach I recommend Whitfords beach.

Beautiful beach clean, not too big waves, surf watch and clean toilet facilities. Located directly across the road from the Mullaloo Beach Hotel on Oceanside Promenade. Has very large grass/park/BBQ area so it’s a great beach to have a BBQ/picnic at the have a dip in the Ocean. There are also ample parking spots which a lot of beaches lack. With the MBH, Dome Café, the Bottle Shop and New Zealand Natural conveniently located across the road what more could you want? The only issue is it’s a very popular beach, especially for families, so if you’re looking for somewhere more private don’t bother.
