Great location and vibe, but if I buy a 42 dollar steak, it should be pretty damn good. Steak was overcooked, and they messed up the sides a bit. The sides, I get the error, no problem, but overcooked steaks? That’s not good. Staff were nice, and responded well to my complaints. I’m sure we could have got it sent back and cooked right, but having a young kid getting bored meant we were keen to keep pushing forward… Goddam Perth and ya crazy food prices.

Went here on a Friday for lunch. Just a normal routine weekday but were lucky to get the last free table on the balcony after some waiting. The weather was beautiful which helps with a positive perception. I had the veggie stack, my wife the vegetarian risotto. Not much choice for vegetarians. Typically WA meat focus. The portions were quite large and really very nicely prepared. Staff was friendly. All in all a very good experience for 76 $ and we will be back.

I’m a local so maybe subtract half a star for bias. This is not super top shelf food, but it’s great for a drop in lunch or dinner. Sure, some dishes are a bit pricey but you can get away with some of the lighter meals for reasonable value. Cold drinks, great views and worth a visit.

This Restaurant and bar is nice when it’s a calm day — but when it is busy it’s kinda gross. The bar area gets sticky and the dj talks over the music a lot. The menu is actually pretty nice — lots of variety. If you want to spend a lot of money then you can get a good meal. However, it’s pretty expensive and if you purchase some of their ‘specials’ you get really average quality. This place is nice for a fancy occasion on a nice quiet day. But sunday sessions and during busy times it is not as nice.

Mullaloo is one of those suburbs that is so far away from Perth that it feels a little like a township or village. On a Saturday morning it may feel more like the hometown of the country’s cyclists meetings as throngs of lycra clad men and women stop for a coffee after their 50 km cycle. The hotel is a little more garish than I would like to see in a pretty coastal area but I’ll get over it. The views over Mullaloo beach are quite delightful and are every reason to find yourself munching on chips and sipping on a cold beer in the Panorama bar. Yet again, however, beachside properties continue to increase their prices making it a lot less enjoyable and means I am less likely to order another drink and take in the sunset.

Opposite the beautiful Mullaloo Beach, stands a big white restaurant, stairs lead up to the restaurant on the left and to the right is Mullaloo bar/club, normally known as MBH. The restaurant is big and a wide open area. It is classy and set out really well. Tables and chairs on the balcony over look Mullaloo beach park and the beautiful Indian Ocean. This restaurant is just what was needed for the mullaloo area. There was nothing opposite the beach before, but now there is a Dome and above that is the restaurant and next to that is the pub and above all of that the hotel itself. There is also a bottle shop and an ice-cream parlour. The restaurant sells amazing food, really unusual but also serves the simple foods too, such as a delicious steak sandwich at lunch time. Also for those fellow vegetarians out there, Panorama has a yummy selections of Veggie options! The staff are really friendly and very professional. The restaurants one down fall, is the costs. The food is lovely and the location is something else, especially at sunset. But it still doesn’t justify the high prices. I went out with three friends last week and the meal cost us $ 250 dollars, we had no starts no deserts and a beer each.(Which is another great thing about this restaurant the full bar!) I just thought that $ 250 seemed like a huge amount for four people and when we didn’t even have 3 courses! All in all the restaurant is good for a special occasions, and overall I give it a four star rating.
