In the way of small pizza joints, Pizza Express in Mosman Park is good.
Lots of topping and cheese, fresh ingredients. In fact juicy ingredients. The BBQ ribs is absolutely delicious.
There are some great specials, be sure to ask before placing your order.

There seems to be a sudden surge in the number of gourmet pizza places, which is fine and nice but sometimes I just want a pizza without goats cheese or pumpkin or pine nuts.
We recently discovered Pizza Express and it’s become our favourite place to order simple pizzas (they also do more gourmet pizzas which we haven’t tried)
The pizza is pretty well priced — waaaay less expensive than the gourmet pizzas but only just a little bit more expensive than a certain international pizza delivery corporation who serve significantly less tasty pizzas.
And to top it off, they deliver!

I lived across the tracks from this pizza spot for 3 months and it left a yummy taste in my mouth. Its not only because its the only pizza take away in the area but because the pizzas are actually quite nice. The flavour options consist of both traditional and a few new inventive suggestions. Try any of the spicy pizzas.
If your friends are stuck on pizzas and you aren’t then theres a few pasta options also, including Lasagne.

Pizza Express make pretty tasty pizzas. Not the best takeaway pizzas I’ve ever had, but still not bad. It certainly satisfies a late night pizza craving, and that’s the main thing. The staff are cheerful and friendly, and if you’re collecting, the pizzas are ready in only ten minutes. You can even see them being made (it’s not that exciting). They have a good selection of toppings, the usual side orders of garlic bread and desserts, and they can also do gluten-​free bases. They’re reasonably priced too, despite some dubious ‘deals’ — one of which said I could get two small pizzas for $ 15.90! What a great deal! Perhaps it would be, if one small pizza wasn’t $ 7.95. That’s not a deal, that’s just the price of two small pizzas. Still though, not bad prices and not bad pizzas, so who’s complaining?
