Cheap, healthy and delish but shame about the customer service. Staff member was obviously hungover or hating life today for some reason. Wasn’t greeted or acknowledged while we were ordering(basically ignored) and when we asked if they had serviettes, she replied with a grunt and gave us two. When we left, we looked at her and she randomly replied with«Thanks! Have a great day!» WTF I ordered a traditional spud — «crispy» bacon and cheese. Bacon wasn’t crispy(it was cold, almost frozen actually)! The BF ordered the pulled pork and LOVED it. Will visit again.

I love this place. The staff are always super nice. Best Spud Bar staff in Melbourne. I love the interesting menu. The food is so fresh and flavoursome. My favourite is the one with the nacho chips in it! So good!

I really enjoyed this place. It is a very simple concept and they execute it very well. Pick a potato and pick your toppings… It was quick and I really enjoyed it.

I’ve been a long time fan of Spud Bar. It’s fast, cheap, fresh, healthy(if you choose wisely) and pretty tasty! I credit them for keeping my roughage intake at an adequate level, as I can order a vegetarian sweet potato(the dhal version is a winner) and get my entire veggie quota in one meal. What sets each Spud Bar apart are the little things like freshness of ingredients, cleanliness of store, music selection and most importantly, the staff. The Little Bourke store nails all of these even though it’s one of the smallest. The staff are good humoured, always up for a chat and take the time to make sure your potato is jammed with ingredients.

You could almost walk past this place and not realise it’s there. Opposite the Apartment, next door to Nandos. Spud bar, the ultimate FILLING winter warmer. In fact I’m sitting here in pain because I demolished my yum potato waaaayyyy toooo quickly. But it was delicious. This is a popular little haunt just a couple of steps away from the busy(and somewhat overpriced at times) Hardware Lane. It gets squished in there though at lunch peak. It’s reliable and tasty(and ladies the guys behind the counter are pretty good to look at too), filling and reasonably priced — and what more could you want a lunch.
