Fast service. Tasty dishes. Can’t go wrong with Don Don’s for a quick work lunch or dine in at the tables at the top of the stairs! All dishes below $ 10 including the bento box which includes two types of meat dishes along with rice, salad and fruit for dessert! Winning!

Get excited, but don’t tell too many people, because Don Don is now down the Southern Cross end of town! Office workers in the area will know the common plight of the hungry Collins street worker — very few options for solid, affordable food. Don Don provides a solution to that problem, as it’s in close proximity to the Rialto Towers and surrounding offices, and has tasty, quick, simple and sinfully cheap Japanese curry. I almost didn’t want to post this review because so far it has been pretty deserted, with pretty much zero wait time with seats always available. I have a feeling that it’s about to change! My one gripe with Don Don is that it’s incredibly average, which you should expect for the dirt cheap price. The chicken isn’t fantastically cooked, and the curry can be a little bit bland. If you want something a little bit more gourmet for a tiny bit more money, I still think that Purple Peanuts is better taste value for money. But when it comes to value for money in general? It’s seriously hard to beat Don Don.
