Too delicious to be true. Went there Friday night with my wife and I conclude that I can never judge this little shop by the look from outside. Rice a bit too soft — just my personal preference on solid rice. Ordered a main and a side, both are above average standard. Main: Spicy Calamari Don(no regret!) Side: Gyoza(definitely not frozen/commercial prepared) — must try. Love this authentic Jap. Will I be back? For sure Yes. Thanks Mr Fusion! Jeng

The best lunch time meal you will get in the city! bento box is huge, food is fresh and staff treat customers like family. Wow! Now on our local weekly lunch list!

Great little Japanese place for lunch. I’ve tried a number of different dishes here, including the chicken and beef curries, sukiyaki beef and teriyaki chicken and all has been pretty tasty. I’m pretty sure this place doesn’t do sushi, so don’t come expecting to find any. Dishes generally come with a salad or a miso soup depending on what you order. Occasionally you may get some Japanese tea brought out by the owner or manager guy who is super energetic and awesome. Other staff are nice to deal with also. The place can get pretty busy on some days so you may struggle to find a table, though generally it’s ok. There is seating in a side building also which you can sit at. The only real downside I have is that the meat is occasionally quite fatty which I hate. I had a particularly bad teriyaki chicken which has put me off buying it since, so I stick to the beef dishes now mainly, which seem to have a bit less fat. Your mileage may vary of course.

Having been to this place maybe twenty times I am yet to have anything less than outstanding food from these guys. I have gradually tried all the noodle soups. The spicy pork curry soba noodle soup(A name like that could be a Microsoft product) is just fantastic. Juicy curried pork shreds thru a miso-like soup. The Katsu curry is also well worth checking out.
