Sadly– I witnessed racial discrimination in this store. The customers being targeted were farewelled with«Have fun being a Muslim in Australia!». It was disappointing behaviour and made me feel very uncomfortable and helpless.

Underneath the Flinders St is a treasure trove. If you’re looking for pieces of silver, they have them here. If you’re into the sort of cutesy design(think squirrels, cartoony whales and trees) then it’s a great place for you to go shopping. Their prices are about the same as everyone else for what it is(around $ 30 to $ 70 for jewellery). If you want something to put on your lapel, like a wooden brooch, then you’ll get it too. They have T-shirts of varying design and there are lots of little homeware items to gander at. Like a miniature ash-tray with a deer printed on it. There’s nothing to be afraid of(unless you are terrified of trains, particularly ones that will fall on your head) so come underground and see what you’re missing out on.
