Wow! What an interesting bar. Each time I go I find I am standing with a different crowd. Very late at night the solid, hard, pool players are making their mark yet at 6pm the following day men in designer suits with ladies in cocktail dressers are making the scene.
There are happy hour sessions… But I haven’t worked that out yet. The drinks seem to differ in prices at different times. Hot light food is also available.
The staff are young and friendly.

Cheapest drinks in Melbourne. Great selection of drinks including house beers. Free Quiz night on Monday with great prizes for all. Karaōke on a Thursday is the best night of the week — eclectic choice of songs to sing along to with free pizzas served too WOW. Fun fun fun atmosphere, open late.

The cheapest place to drink in Melbourne! They have fantastic drinks deals and an event on every night of the week! Some of my fave nights are… Mondays — quiz, with a load of prizes! We won a massive bar tab this week! Tuesday — beer pong, Wednesday — full moon (really cheap drinks) Thursday — karaōke (win $ 1000) and FREE pizza! Sat — power hour 9−10pm redic cheap drinks!
It’s a great bar to meet other back packers! And did I mention FREE pool and darts, what more could u want!

Backpacker-​style bar in the north of the CBD/​south Carlton. Cheap feeds and great specials on drinks, especially Wednesday and Saturday nights. $pints, $ 10 jugs and similar prices… If your mind takes you this sort of place, you can get a hell of a buzz for $ 25 at those prices!
I was skeptical about the $ 7.50 meal and pot, but this is probably the est value meal in Melbourne, or bloody close to it. It challenges the $ 3 borek, it’s that good! I had the pasta and a mate got a pizza, and we both struggled to finish it all — the previous three pints may have had something to do with that.
Not swish, not dirty and not sparkly, but there is a pool table, undercover smoking area and a good buzz. Check out the wall carpet! Great place.

Remember this review has been written by a father of three staying in Space hotel with the family. If you were/​are a young student at RMIT watching dollars then you would be acting in opposition to your intelligence level to not be coming here at least once a week.
As a forty year old, too noisy and young.
But what would I know???
Get off my lawn!
