Victoria Hall was nicest hostels I stayed at in Australia. Seems newly renovated, the furniture looked Ikea-esque. The private one bedroom we had actually had a desk, which was rather rare. The walls were brightly colored and youthful looking to cater to the backpacker crowd. People at the front were nice and there were board games one could check out. There was rooftop access but closed for maintenance while I stayed there. The location was also very convenient, walking distance to the central business district(CBD). You can walk to a lot of restaurants/shops. The only downside was there weren’t enough bathrooms in the bedroom area. There were extra ones by the stairs but quite a bit less convenient.
