I had heard of this place previously as they have a few venues around the CBD and I am glad I finally got to try it! Located in quaint centre place, don’t be fooled by the long line — they are very efficient! The«normal» size baguettes Ben refers was enough for me! My colleague was raving about a B3 and I must agree that if I worked in the city I would be here all the time. Price is super duper for lunch in the city and staff are very efficient and friendly. I had the chicken schnitzel and it was cooked right and still crispy with enough sauce and salad to eat and not get messy. I’ll be back!

This place doesn’t look like much, it doesn’t even have seating. Despite it’s humble appearance, it’s a great little café. At the main store front there’s a great range of cheap but filling baguettes and muffins. Their little secondary store front across the lane has excellent rice paper rolls and soup. The prices are so cheap they make it not worth the effort to bring lunch to work from home. It’s worth making the effort to come early in the lunch rush as some items(especially the rice paper rolls) sell out by the end of lunch time.

Wow this little gem of a sandwich café was shown to me by a work friend. Very small shop front and cash only with plenty of staff to keep the wait time down to a minimum. Plenty of variety in the baguettes on offer and very reasonable priced too Either petit or grande size baguettes and I found the petit very filling, not sure I would have managed a grande. The size of the petit was decent and the chicken schnitzel one I had was a taste sensation from the first bite to the last No wonder there was a small crowd around this place

This is my favourite place for a cheap and quick lunchtime snack! Friendly service, great baguettes which are now $ 4.50 for a small(but very filling) and $ 6.50 for a grande! Great!

This place is great value for money as well as convenience. Pre-made rolls based on basic fillings. No frills but they taste good and are cheap for what you get. If you want a custom made roll with African eggplant and fancy lettuce, this ain’t your place. If you have some loose coins and just want a quick roll, stop here.

The baguettes are now $ 4 for a Petite and $ 6 for a Grande, but hey, still a real bargain! The Petite baguettes are filling enough and I don’t think you would be able to find much cheaper lunch options in the CBD. There might be a little bit of a line but the staff are super quick and efficient. Sandwiches are pre-made but still taste fresh. The chicken schnitzel is a favourite of mine. No fuss about these sandwiches, just cheap, quick and tasty.

$ 3.50 «normal» size baguettes $ 5.50 «Grande baguettes» — which are pretty damn grande. Lamingtons(Swoon) Vanilla slices. Unfortunately they no longer make burgers but to make up for it just have another Vanilla Slice. :)

A good place to get a cheap but reasonable sandwich at lunch. The only downside is that it’s very popular, and there is usually a line for service. While waiting in line, sometimes passers-by will make loud and obvious statements about the line, as though they are the only ones who can see it. e.g. «wow, look at that line» or «do you see how many people are in line?»

If you have ever walked down the iconic Centre Place during lunch time on a weekday you will have noticed the line of people outside this place as they wait to get some of the best cheapest baguettes in the city. I think it actually works out cheaper to come here for lunch than to make your own at home and brink it into work. Given they are so busy, somehow the staff here who work incredibly fast never look tired. They used to make this incredible ham and tomato relish pastry with cheese, if enough people who read this review and know if this tell them to bring it back, then maybe, just maybe they will do it.
