All the usual stuff on offer coffee tea food. My issues with Qantas is their app. There is no way of getting your frequent flyer number in the app. The Singapore app is so much better

Nothing better than watching people at work on their laptops, suited up, game faces on when your on a holiday and just kicking back. Fun to see how much free food can be ingested by one human. I only wish it was a bit less crowded. I would complain but as I am not even a member and only snuck in on Keeno’s membership I should probably let that one slide.

OMG! This is the best lounge ever made. Table service, free spa, you will never want your plane to show-up ;)

This is a great lounge(certainly much better than sitting at the gates) because you don’t really need to hold a status because you can buy a qantas club membership — which could be a bit more economical than flying lots of business/first class flights or being a business/first PAX. Access to this lounge gives you a bathroom to shower/freshen up, unlimited food/drink, power for your computer/phone, and wireless internet. For business/first class PAX, you are still welcome here without buying the membership — but you should try the lounge across the other side which is much better/exclusive(variety of food/drinks, décor, service and better views of the tarmac).

When its not crowded the Qantas club is an excellent place to spend your waiting time at. The food is good and the drink choices are also good. Nice comfortable seating and all in all a great place.

Quite a good airport lounge. There’s a separate Business Class lounge at the other end, but this one is still very nice. It’s huge, which means I’ve always been able to get a comfy spot to sit. There’s a good mix of areas, too, with laptop workstations, quiet reading chairs, and stools and benches near the TVs. Drinks(and Fat Yak on tap!), snacks, newspapers: everything you need to make your airborne departure much more civilised.

My wife and I have done a fair amount of traveling throughout our years, and we both agree hands down that this is by far the best airport lounge that we have both experienced in our time. I realize that there are tons of better lounges out there, but this is all about OUR experience right? It was huge by airport lounge standards, and it offered tons of amenities including sandwiches, some hot dishes and a wide variety of alcohol and wines that would satisfy most people. All in all … EXCELLENT !!!

Now this is what an airport lounge is suppose to be like. Loads of space — no crowding. Free food, wines, and cocktails everywhere. Not just crackers and cookies, but soups, sandwiches, cheeses, fruits, and cooked sidedishes, as well as mixed nuts, beer, booze, and a selection of Aussie wines. It doesn’t match Cathay Pacific’s club in Hong Kong or some of the others with personally prepared hot meals. But it’s still a long step above the typical airline lounge in America.

Sydney International Airport is pretty good, as airports go. But no matter how good an airport it is, sometimes you want to get away from the hard plastic seats in Departures and the South American backpackers screaming at one another in Portuguese over missed flights. Enter, for the lucky ones, the Qantas Club. Given that Qantas is our national airline, and Sydney international our biggest airport, it makes sense that this is the flagship Qantas Club — it’s certainly the best I’ve been fortunate enough to visit. Complimentary food and drink suited to all tastebuds certainly take the sting out of the eight-hour stopover or nine pm departure, and ensure that you don’t spend your life savings in the expansive food court. The food is generally pretty good, and changes according to the time of day — but if it feels like breakfast to you because of the time difference with Peru, you can always request some bacon and eggs or toasted museli. The free wifi and computers provide a great Facebook check-in opportunity, while the various international magazines and newspapers provide a more low-tech way of passing time before your connection to Melbourne. The on-site showers are an absolute godsend — enough said. For all these positives, however, there are some negatives — you need to be with someone with a Qantas Club Membership and guest pass to get it. Unconditionally; there is absolutely no bending of the rules on that one. Also, the type of people that have Membership cards are the type that travel on business frequently — and thus have no issue in SHOUTING down their phones at all hours to Hong Kong. There’s a real attitude in the Club, that’s for sure. But hey — for free food and a shower after a 20 hour flight, I can probably deal with that!
