Artichoke Gsllery Cafe

I loved this place. A funky little gem tucked away from the mainstream bars and restaurants of Manly. When you look at the menu you might think «great… a mish mash of Asian, Spanish and Australian… but will any of it be really good?» Why yes, yes it will. The caramelised chilli chicken was so.freaking.yum. The haloumi with capsicum? A wonderful starter. The green curry looked amazing, the Vietnamese sizzling dish smelled sensational and the Sangria washed it all down smoothly. Prices are really reasonable as well!
The guitarist playing spanish tunes added to the vibe and even though it was very cosy and intimate with tables crammed up next to each other, the eight of us felt like there was no one in the restaurant but us.
What a great place! I’d definitely go back time and time again.
