I was very keen to try this place when I first heard about it, a nighttime pop up bar… what a cool idea! It is a tequila/mexican bar and managed by the same people as Miss Marleys, Sugar Lounge and Harlem(all in Manly). The first time I came I only had cocktails and the second time cocktails and tacos(3 for $ 15). The cocktails were nice and the tacos tasty, however they are by no means big. I’d consider them more a light snack than dinner but considering the price they are acceptable. One major complaint… the staff here NEED to work on their service. Both times staff come over literally as soon as you sit down. Obviously you do not know what you want straight away so they wander off and forget about you for half an hour. Considering there is only a few tables I seriously wonder what they are doing out the back the whole time. Last Friday night one of the waiters admitted he had forgotten us however fortunately by that stage we’d managed to hail someone else and order. This is my key issue with the place and they really should fix it. Aside from that the food and drinks are pretty good, but there are better places to eat in Manly. Good for a one shot to try something different.
