Fantastic value«Rock Value Pack» for takeaway $ 33 check it out. Our work gets lunch from here at least once a fortnight and have never been let down. Always fast to prepare, friendly people and always tasty food. Highly recommend.

Red Rock is a great for some quality lunch or dinner. It’s hard to believe that a place so ubiquitous is a franchise. The staff at Magill are really friendly and always up for a chat. I love the flavours that come through the ingredients. Taste so fresh and look so appealing. It’s always perfectly cooked with just the right balance of vegetables. There are few companies that give a knock out delivery. Red Rock gets pretty close, although on more than one occasion the delivery guy has gotten lost, and I’m required to put on pants and yonder to find them asking for directions at the petrol station near my house.

I’ve been here a couple of times during Uni lunch breaks at Magill. The food is predicatbly good as I’ve had it before at other Red Rock’s with good lunch specials which are cheap and filling. I’ve noticed it is usually very quiet in here, especially over lunch, so you can have a quiet chat and get your food quick instead of sitting through the hustle at Aroma in the Uni. The service is fine and I have not had any issues, but nothing special. Also the view out the window is of a main intersection so not very appealing. But the hills can kind of be seem in the distance through the buildings.

When I’m at the Magill uni campus and am well and truly sick of eating at Aromas, I walk up to the intersection of Magill and St Bernards Road for a bowl of noodles. What I love about Red Rock is they are consistently good. The food is fresh, cooked to order and plentiful, especially given the price. If it weren’t for the modern fit out, you could be anywhere in Asia. However, all the Red Rock’s I’ve eaten have a fresh, modern fit-out with light wooden floors and chairs with bright red and matt black walls. Lunch specials available Monday to Friday, noon to 3pm, are $ 7.90 for chicken, beef or vegetable and $ 9.90 for seafood and there are 18 dishes to choose from. I usually order the Red Rock Noodles with beef or chicken — fresh flat rice noodles and vegetables(normally $ 11.90 for beef, children, veg or tofu and $ 14.90 for seafood). Friday I decided to mix it up and tried the chicken kway teow — spicy flat noodles with bean shoots. It was a huge plate for $ 7.90, definitely not a lunchtime serve. It didn’t have any greens which made it look a little dull and I should mention that while I’ve never had a problem in the past, I was extremely thirsty for hours after lunch on Friday which made me wonder if there was perhaps some MSG in my meal. However, this was the first time that has happened. If you’re not near Magill, you can find Red Rock at 16 other locations around Adelaide.
