A group of us were walking past and decided to stop in and we didn’t want to leave! Within a few minutes we were up on the dance floor, the DJ’s were pumping out great tunes. The drinks are on the pricey side charging $ 10 for a bottle of beer but I loved the place and the staff were super friendly. Great décor with vintage chairs, heaps of seating and tables. Definitely coming back here again.

Funky little club room. They’ve just started doing live music which has been impressive each time I’ve been — a good selection of bands with DJs playing between sets. I feel that $ 10 for a can of Pabst Blue Ribbon is perhaps a bit cheeky but they usually have cheap drinks specials. If you’re into live music it’s definitely worth heading down for HERD on a Wednesday or Thursday night.

Hip Hop Bar/Club We heard about this club/bar and though we would check it out after an early dinner. The entry is located in the alley way near the Hip-E Club. The space is decent but one of the smaller clubs around. When we arrived there was another couple having a drink at the end of the bar. The bar tenders were more than attentive as other than the couple and us, there was no-one else in the club. We were told that as the night progressed more people would arrive. It seems like more of a sit down and chill out kind of club rather than a get up and shake your booty kind of place. Drinks were decent but on the pricey side. I think they are marketing to the more posh crowd. As we left after our first round of drinks, a few people started arriving but we decided that was enough for us. Music is hip/hop rnb so don’t bother unless your into this kind of music. Lots of seating is available inside(when its empty anyway). Bar service is good and the dj was decent. The music got a bit too loud just before we left though. Overall probably a decent little club if that type of thing is your scene.
