Quality Takeaway Italian but average sit in service. Busy lifestyles don’t always allow me to take in a full restaurant experience but I am fond of Sienna’s. Always enjoyed their garlic bread, their signature stuffed chicken breast, pasta & they can cook a nice steak. The owner is friendly & welcoming but the customer service quality dips after that with slow service & inattentive staff. So I do say use them for takeaway, they prepare their food for travel well & there is plenty of parking behind the building.

The easiest way to describe this place would be. «The Italian McDonalds» Cheap, large pasta dishes with minimal service. quality wise the pasta is decent as well as pizzas worth mentioning. BYO but you will need to buy bottles of water otherwise they will only do a glass at a time. This place is LOUD and always busy with high turnover. Don’t expect quality service(if at all) but you can expect to not walk away hungry(if anything you’ll be bringing a doggy bag home!)

To be honest, this is a second and last time I will go to this restaurant. With so many choices around the Leederville area I don’t see the need to be disappointed again. They seem to fill the place but I don’t know how as the food(all food we ate) was very very average. The service was not good at all, with the waitress forgetting about us on a number of occasions and we had to ask a few other waitresses to take our orders or give us the correct cutlery. The eggplant dish I got came with nothing but the way the menu read it suggested it came with chips. When we queried this the waitress looked as us like we had ten heads and told us we had to order that separately.

This place takes top prize in the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and as a result I have vowed never to return. Without going into the whole story, we were basically told that the kitchen was still open– only to then have the waiters/waitresses hang around at our table while we looked at our menu so that they could get the order through asap– they were visibly annoyed at us for being there and made sure we knew about it. I cannot understand why this place is always busy.

Great food — But terrible staff. Only had 1 menu per table. Went to get one off one of the many empty tables and was told rudely there is supposed to be only 1 per table. Looked down nose for asking for tap water after tried to sell us bottled water. Glasses were almost thrown on the table actually spilling over. No soup at midday on a Thursday! Rolled eyes and responded begrudgingly when interacted and patronizingly and with a «dear» or «lovie». The Maori lady was particularly rude and the petite one was just mildly. Cant believe you could have such rude staff. Spaghetti marinara was great. Reasonably nice surroundings — like the fountain — and play area is a good idea — but could you fit any more tables in there! Would be nicer if there less tables and was more space between tables.

Rude, arrogant and disgusting customer service. Never have I felt so unwanted. Arrogant abrupt staff made it quite noticeable that they didn’t want our patronage. Snatched plates and menus from my hands, served us from over the railing because they were to lazy to serve us from the table. Horrible fatty food, warm water, cold waiters. As a Leederville local I will never come back here again but I can guarantee that I will tell everyone I know how bad this venue is! Avoid at all costs!

We regularly visit as a group from work and are never disappointed. Great value for the lunchtime specials and great food. Only thing I don’t like is the way they serve tap water by the glass instead of just putting out a bottle or jug in an effort to get you to purchase the bottled water. The calzone and marinara are particular favourites.

We’ve recently moved to Leederville and ordered take away pizza from Sienna’s on our first night here, the pizza’s were delicious and very reasonably priced too.

Sienas seemed like the perfect spot to come on a Tuesday night with a large group as there is plenty of seating, a play area for the kids and it is special night on a Tuesday. But unfortunately these were about the only positives to our dinner here. The food was very average, the pizzas aren’t bad with a nice thin dough and not too much topping, but I would have been really disappointed if it wasn’t a special night as the regular prices are very expensive for what you get. The service here however, was terrible. Our drink orders were messed up several times and our meals were literally thrown on the table by the waiter. But that was topped off when one of my friends politely asked if one of the sauces contained any meat and the waitress rolled her eyes and replied as if it was the stupidest question she had heard all week. I understand that they were booked out and extremely busy on this particular night, but that is no excuse for rude service and I won’t be rushing back.

Quite dispointed in this place. I will admit, I had been there before and was satisfied with my experience but unfortunately not this time. We were placed outside due to it being very busy(I did not mind this) but we’re forgotten about. Took a good 20min for someone to come take our order. Our drinks came out promptly though. As it was busy our meal did take a little longer. But I was satisfied with what I got(grilled chilli squid with chips and salad). They are good serving sizes for what you pay. When our plates were collected, my friend wanted a coffee. The waitress said she did not have the order tablet and would send someone over. No one came over so we ended up going else where. Not the worst experience but could have been better.

This bustling and busy restaurant is located beautifully in leederville main street. It is best visited on Monday Tuesday or Wednesday when the specials are on. The service is quick and efficient. I had the seafood marinara which was lovely. The downside to this place is the overwhelming noise! Book or come early to wait in line!

I love Sienna’s and their meals. Usually get the avocado and chicken pizza YUM! Never had a problem with the food. Sometimes friendly staff, although have had very, very rude staff serve me before.

Siena’s of Leederville is not Perth’s best food, but it’s certainly not its worst! This sprawling Italian restaurant in the heart of Leederville is a bustling spot that churns out hearty Italian meals. The chicken parmigiana I had was a hefty size and had the right amount of cheese and sauce. It was served with chips and salad and was well worth the $ 17 lunchtime special price tag($ 25 at dinner time). The chicken was lovely white meat and the crumb was exceptional. We also ordered garlic bread which was well priced and was traditional Italian goodness. Wait staff weren’t the friendliness and Siena’s interior isn’t anything to write home about. It is dimly lit and if busy there is so much noise that it can feel almost like a cafeteria. Prices are reasonable to pricey, with some dishes not looking worthy of their price tag. Dessert menu was a disappointment as it was so short and dull. Siena’s is licensed, and also serves a collection of counter cakes and pastries as well as having a gelato counter. Bottom line: Siena’s is worth a visit, but certainly isn’t the best feed you can get in Leederville…

I quite love Siena’s! Especially for lunch and Tuesday night dinners when everything is at the special half price! The servings are always a plenty so you can take some home and have it for lunch the next day, which is such a great thing to open the fridge to in the morning knowing you’ve got an ace lunch to look forward to! Service could do with a huge improvement though, it can take forever for a waiter to ask if you want a dessert menu! They are always friendly though I’ll give them that! You don’t come to Siena’s and order a salad– I’m sorry but that’s a bit ridiculous in my opinion! The table next to me had a couple complaining about their meal, they ordered a salad. Really? Italians are known for their beautiful pastas and pizzas! So I had no sympathy for them, sorry. I would definitely recommend their tortellini in a tomato cream sauce(they can change up the sauce to cream/tomato/both! Just ask) and the pesto linguine with prawn and scallop is beautiful! I would however like to see more specials and different kinds of pasta because their menu rarely strays and changes from the norm. This place gets real loud sometimes, and that’s the way I think it should be at an Italian restaurant! :) See you there next Tuesday!

Siena’s has been an Oxford Street staple for years. It’s a casual, family friendly restaurant with a range of pastas, pizzas and other mains available. Some of the food is a bit hit and miss but if you know the place you can get a pretty decent dinner for around $ 20 with a glass of wine and walk out stuffed silly. I always opt for a table outside on the street to avoid the bustling, impersonal interior. It’s so much more pleasant watching the Leederville foot traffic. The best dishes I have found are the Calamari Griglia, the chili mussels, spaghetti marinara and the linguini Elba. I tend to avoid any of the creamier pasta dishes as the sauces are just too heavy. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights have specials for pizza and pasta so this is where Siena’s offers it’s value for money. Glasses of wine start at $ 6 or $ 20 for a bottle. Haven’t seen wine at those prices at any restaurant in Perth just about ever! So in a nutshell, not the fanciest of places nor offering the best Italian in Perth but a-ok for a casual cheap dinner. Just pick the right night!

I’m upping this place another star as we’ve been several times since my last review and have had consistently pleasant visits with the kids. The pros and cons are still the same, but we keep returning so the pros must outweigh those cons.

Siena’s is a a good restaurant for big dinners or places to take your kids out for dinner. It isn’t really the spot for a date or a romantic evening. In saying that though the food is tasty, its BYO and relatively cheap. I have been a couple of times and went last night for my work Christmas dinner. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday they have cheap pasta and pizza night. I had the Spaghetti Marinara last night with extra chilli and it was really good. My work friends got the gnocchi and cabonara which were good as well. The serving sizes are HUGE so we all had a hard time finishing them but it was good as we were able to take the other half home for lunch the next day. All those meals were only between $ 13-$ 16 so its really good for a cheap dinner out with friends. The place is big but we booked just in case and were lucky we did because there was a massive line out the front so I suggest booking as well if you dont want to wait!

Decided to go to Siena’s because it says is ‘kids friendly’ but the play area seen better days, the playground is dirty and old, there is a filthy sink next to it with rubbish bins and I actually saw kids opening and going through the rubbish. My parmigiana wasn’t too bad, horrible salad dressing though, my partners pasta dish was pretty average, for entrée we ordered the potato croquette with mozzarella cheese but didn’t see or taste any cheese in it. Wasn’t cheap either, had one beer, my partner had tap water, two mains(parmigiana and pasta) one kids meal and entrée costed us almost $ 80! Probably the best of the night was my daughters little wood fire pizza kids meal.

Pretty disappointed with my return to this place after my last experience there. In all honesty, I should have expected to be disappointed. The food companions I was with this time didn’t eat much because we were there for a meeting but I decided to indulge a little bit and ordered from their dessert menu. I ordered am ice cream dessert with caramel. It sounded pretty promising from the description… and it would have been if that was what was actually brought to the table. The serving was on the larger size(which always makes you feel like you’ve got value for money) but after a little while, the ice cream started melting and running down the side of the container and onto the table making quite a bit of a mess. Could have been worse I guess. All things considered, this place is get’s a big«OK» for me. But considering that there are better alternatives within walking distance I’ll be going elsewhere next time. The only advantage(or disadvantage) to this place is that it’s got an indoor playground area where parents can put their children for a bit. This place is probably pretty popular with the parent groups around the place but for the more astute diners, I think they’ll be taking their business elsewhere.

Ghastly is the word that comes to mind. This is feeding for the masses and appeals to parents who can’t control their bratty kids. The portions are huge, which seems to have pull with some customers, but I just find it nauseating what now constitutes a ‘standard’ serving size. The décor is cluttered and dated. This coupled with the background of screaming children does not make for a pleasant evening. The last time I ate at Siena’s was, for the record, not by choice. Siena’s was the restaurant of preference because, mediocrity aside; A) they can accommodate a group of 16, and B) it was relatively cheap for those of us on student budgets. Needs A and B were not met however, and all that was afforded to us was one shitty dining experience. Firstly, we were wrong in thinking Siena’s could accommodate large numbers. Our meals took ages and were all served at odd times. A few orders at our table had ingredients missing and one was just wrong altogether. Secondly, the meals weren’t even that cheap! A spaghetti carbonara costs $ 18.50 and my order of calamari with salad and chips was $ 28.50. The squid was disgusting; overcooked and like chewing rubber. The accompanying salad was partly wilted and drenched in dressing. Ick. Unsurprisingly, similar complaints of overcooked this, undercooked that, and bland this were made around the table. To add insult to injury the restaurant refuses to serve free water and you have to buy bottles. You’ve been warned, don’t do it.
