Clean, Welcoming, Host Nick affable and professional. A true hidden Gem, definitely one to visit.
Chef Suchitra, knows her stuff and turns out Thai faire to be reckoned with. Don’t want to recommend this place too highly because with the limited seating and popularity I could miss out. We went on a Sunday and was half booked, so suggest book in advance.
SumTom Thai, eaten by a Thai is recommended and the Panang Beef was enjoyed as much by the Farang (Westerners).
Food is FRESH. Pricing and serve size leaves nothing to complain about.
Looking forward to getting back there in the next couple of weeks.

I get the feeling that the people living in this quiet end of Joondalup are keeping Lion Thai a closely guarded secret. Anyone I’ve ever known to have been there has always lived nearby.
The Penang curry was a hit, that’s my pick! All the food is super fresh, with lots of veggies, so I felt like I was eating something relatively healthy. At about $ 50 a couple it was also good value.
One thing I also love about Lion Thai is that there is no added MGS to their food. I found I have a bad reaction to this nasty food additive. So my mind is at ease that I won’t get that dreaded MSG migraine. Lion Thai is also BYO, they do have soft drink on sale. The service is friendly, fast and attentive; the surrounds are very pleasant too.
