Cold cider and hot «chips». Beautiful place and nice bunch of people. Really would have liked to get a meal but I was there I guess to early for dinner and to late for lunch

I heard about this place so eight weeks after it opened i checked it out its a great place, nice locals, food and service is A grade. You need to hit up there burgers they are the best.

Always a pleasant experience, the staff are always friendly, the food is fast and well priced. The beer is incredible and there is an option for a tasting tray in case you want to try the lot.
We keep coming back again and again, we are yet to be disappointed.
It’s a pleasure to have somewhere like this to enjoy in Ipswich.

Great range of tap beer, made by 4 hearts brewing on premises! A great use of space, think The Charming Squire-​esque in the heart of Ipswich. Highly recommend the Pale Ale & Beef Cheek Pizza, YUM!!!

Yay! Yay! A new favourite place. I can see myself spending a few Friday evenings hanging out at Punmpyard. This place was buzzing with locals, looking to unwind after a big week. This time we opted to have a few ales with a side of onions rings.
The big shiny stainless steal brewing barrels are the hero piece of the décor and I am told that the men can see through the bottle wall feature in the loos (you can see in the other way — I tried)
The menu looks interesting and I can’t wait to go back and try it. I will update my review following that experience.

A relatively new addition to the Ipswich dining scene, Pumpyard Bar & Brewery (or Four Hearts Brewing Company — the name appears to be used interchangeably) has become one of our regular eats — I’d even go as far as calling it our go-​to restaurant. And judging by how busy the place is every time we go — I’m guessing we aren’t alone.
They serve bar-​style food like burgers, wraps, chips etc, but with a fancy twist such as Chili Cheese Fries and Beer ice cream. The portions are not huge, but the prices are also quite reasonable. Their Wednesday night special $ 12 ribs are absolutely delicious.
Pumpyard Bar & Brewery is the first and only brewery in Ipswich since 1903, and being a brewery, there is always a good variety of beer to be had — both in-​house brewed as well as more common bottled beer. Some of their brewed beer is really interesting, like their Wabbit Saison which is a carrot beer, and my personal favorite — the Coffee Cream Ale which is a beer brewed with coffee — awesome! Some of the beers like the Coffee Cream Ale are seasonal, so unfortunately are not available all of the time. They also sell take-​home growlers so you can take your favorite beer home too :)
With a great atmosphere complete with beer vats right in the dining area, live music on Sunday’s and friendly staff, it’s easy to see why this place is very quickly becoming a favorite :)

For fans of beer, and not your run of the mill XXXX or Carlton Draught or even a VB die hards, no this place serves a myriad of fantastic beers brewed Onsite and procured from all over this great southern land (and some afar) There is an in house coffee beer that makes you wish for a never ending schooner or carrot flavored Wabbit Saison. (They even have delicious beers for the less adventurous who don’t want to step too far out of the XXXX comfort zone) Don’t fret the knowledgeable and friendly staff will help guide you on your food and beer journey if you get lost.
The fantastic bar food menu is delicious (the beef cheek Burger is ridiculously tasty) and plentiful, so much so even without the lure of great beers it would get most people there alone and the steam punk setting with all the brewing paraphernalia surrounding you makes for a great atmosphere.

Certainly worth the drive to Ipswich. Open from 12 noon Wed to Sun, craft beers brewed on site, a good wine list and a food menu to match! Kid family friendly as well.
