Urban Pantry

Pleasant café in the Top of Town Ipswich.
I stopped in on a Friday night of a stroll along the main street markets, and was pleasantly surprised.
There is a small selection of good quality food on offer, not at all the usual quick take away meal. The coffee was good, served quickly and with a smile.
What I like about this little café is there is a selection of pantry items on sale as well.
Mainly spices, flavoured oils, pastas, herbs, chutneys, chillies and jams. It was an absolute delight walking in and noticing the natural flow of the café, the items for sale, the were place nicely on shelves that did not over shadow the products. It didn’t feel like you were walking into a store (Cole’s or Woolies) at all, just a natural feel. Then moving onto the café at the back of the store.
There was a bench and stools to sit and eat or read a book on the inside of the café as well as sidewalk tables to sit and enjoy a light meal with friends outside.
I would stop at this café again.
