George St. was great — Hornsby not so much. It may just be my problem, i tunes, but I swear one thing you will never EVER hear from a techie are the words«I don’t know» If they don’t know they just keep talking but those words don’t ever come out of their mouths. My i tunes library and Keeno’s should be sharable(is that a word?). Techie says there are too many tunes to share, we need a USB to transfer. Still won’t work cos Keeno’s old«POTUS»(thanks Rupert) account can’t be shared. Tried everything before booking a «genius» appointment. Genius at what? Hair styles? Sorry — I appreciate thats getting a bit personal, but am I the only one who wonders if techies are duty bound to ignore mirrors? If you haven’t fixed a problem before why not say so? Why have a go and hope for the best? I have to give Hornsby 3 stars because they did try, but there is no harm in admitting defeat — would have saved me a trip and $ 16 for a USB

As we reel from the death of Steve Jobs, many of us may find ourselves making a pilgrimage to an Apple Store. The newly opened store in Westfield Hornsby will doubtless see an influx of curious and perhaps dewy-eyed customers wanting to bask a little longer in the brilliance of Apple’s visionary founder. This store is much more modestly sized than it’s big smoke big brother, but with the same layout and blue-shirted brigade of assistants, you’ll quickly feel right at home. The Apple store employees are notoriously helpful — they’re a revamped breed of customer service in an increasingly distant, online era. This chatty, happy, geeky service — alongside the shiny products and free wifi — is what makes visiting the Apple Store more than fun, it’s a downright delight. Steve Jobs can add that to his lengthy legacy.
