Snuck in to taste a secret beef stroganoff. All I can say is Tasty very Tasty. Time for a nap.

Extremely slow service — I wanted to get a quick takeaway coffee and ended up waiting 20 minutes for it…

If the weird, curly green alien adorning the wall of Jimini’s is supposed to be Jiminy Cricket, then the owners would do well to revisit Pinocchio. But strange ‘art’ aside, Jimini’s is quite the local favourite. From the baby-stroller brigade to ladies who(casually) luncheon, Jimini’s is a convenient and consistently good café. Although let’s face it, shopping centre cafes/restaurants are tricky affairs. You’ve got to contend with the overly bright Westfield lighting and the ‘ambiance’ of brusque, bustling shoppers. That said, Jimini’s occupies a nice little niche next to Thomas Dux, so at least you can set your gaze upon fresh produce. The produce on the plate is well worth a look as well. Gluten free eaters will be pleased with the options on offer, as will those looking for some delicious Danes coffee. The burgers, BLAT and salads are all solid options, all reasonably priced if occasionally served on the small side. So if you find yourself searching for lunch or a coffee after a busy shopping trip, then make your way to Jimini’s. Oh and do me a favour and ask about the green alien?!
