Thanks to Robert B’s review, I now have a new regular morning coffee haunt! I don’t even know the name of the maestro behind the machine but our relationship’s already gone too far for me to ask now. Awkward. By that I just mean that I’ve given enough feedback for said maestro to know exactly how I like my coffee so that each morning it’s near perfect. Ahhhh, satisfaction. Discounts for reusable coffee cups is just another reason to love Zimmah, and the maestro doesn’t even mind tackling the challenge of putting my hookturn cup’s lid on each morning(where other baristas have trembled in fear). I’m dying in anticipation of waiting for the café side of Zimmah to open, as it’s the shortest of strolls from my place… but it could also mean sweet-talking them into opening on weekends, too, as for now they’re just open from Monday to Friday. Still, get in and grab a delicious coffee, and maybe even a killer bag of beans, too. With excellent blend names like the Tattooed Nun, Dutch Courage, Devil & the Deep and the Artful Dodger, I’m hooked on this sassy place and can’t wait to see what happens next.

Hidden down the alley beside the Ricoh shop this is really just a hole in a wall type place for now, but I believe they are working on opening up more based on the facebook photos. The coffee was good and I think on par with a number of the better coffee houses around Hobart, but some tables etc would be nice.
