Walking up to the street address we were not sure if Charcoal was still open or not. The shop front on the street level was covered in plastic. Once we walked past we realized that Charcoal was upstairs.
The dining area is nice and we sat at the window looking out onto the street.
The food was nice but not great. There 2as nothing wrong with it per se however it needed ‘something’ to make it a bit more exciting.
We were there on a Sunday and it wasn’t overly busy however the staff were a little absent which may have had something to do with the English cricket team who were checking in to the adjoining hotel.
We ordered margarita pizza a few of the tapas and the cheese board.
